Part 1

The stage light was hot on my skin. I felt the sweat trickle down my face. The music started and my feet moved along with the rhythm. I block out everything else and just focus on listening to the music.

The music stops and my heart is racing. The applause filled the small speakeasy.
Most everyone knew that performance "the charlston" but I am a flapper we let the music take control.

I climb off the stage and let the band take the spotlight with their jazz and blues music. The bar was very crowded, I asked the bartender for some moonshine and I downed the small shot glass.

By the fourth or fifth glass, I was completely wasted. I drunkedly climbed the stairs. The fresh air woke my senses a little but obviously not enough. I stumbled again and grabbed a street pole to steady myself. I heard the voices getting louder and louder. I stumbled into a dark alleyway, the voices still followed me. The alcohol was finally taking control and my eyes started getting heavy. The footsteps were right behind me. I turned around, well tried to anyway
"Hey, who a-are y-you?" I slurred, dang I am never drinking so much again. I saw the group of boys walking toward me and I somehow backed myself into a corner a 'dead end' HA! HA! Get the pun dead end. I'm going to die, I'm going to die. Dang cosmina can't you be a little positive. Okay I am positive I am going to die. Oh great I'm talking to myself, I'm not only going to die but I'm going crazy too. SHUT UP, focuse on the situation. I felt a hand on my arm and brought me back from my thoughts.The group is surrounding me The group is surrounding me the group was surrounding me, he put his hand over my mouth and pinched my nose. My eyes were getting heavier and heavier then everything went black.
