One day, a dad comes home drunk and mad. He pulls out a gun, shooting his wife and afterwards himself. His daughter sits behind the couch, crying her eyes out. The police come and take the little girl to a new family, where she attends her first church. She walks past the building and sees a picture of Jesus on the cross. She asks the priest, "How did that man get off the cross?" Somewhat startled, the priest responds with, "He never did." The little girl argues, "Yes he did. The night my mommy and daddy died, he was sitting next to me, telling me that everything was going to be alright."
