Eliza-

It's October now, (it's been 2 weeks since the unknown person left the note in my locker) and the unknown number never stopped texting me, I was heading to my locker before class started and I saw Brooke and Ethan standing there like they always do

"My God Eliza you're so short" Ethan says chuckling

"I am?? I never knew that!" I roll my eyes playfully

"Well, now you know that you're not getting taller!" Ethan chuckles

I laughed at his comment.

I opened my locker and a note slipped out

"What's that?" Brooke asks picking it up

"It has an "U" on it" she shows us
I already had one with an "E" on it

"What the hell?" I say

"Are they going to do this every month?" I roll my eyes

"They gave me one 2 weeks ago which you obviously know about, and It had an "e" on it" I say taking it from my locker

"It's trying to spell something, just keep holding on to them," Ethan says

"I will" I sigh and put the unnecessary books in my locker haha
"But it doesn't make any sense, an "E" and a "U" it's not spelling anything, " I say

"Yet." Ethan chuckles

"Alright have a nice time in the first period!" Brooke says walking away from us

"I'll walk you to your first period" Ethan says while I closed my locker

"Thanks" I smiled at him

"I'm honestly sorry you're going through this" Ethan says

"It's been okay actually, the person is not threatening me in any way thank god,in" I say

"That's a benefit" he nods

"I know but I don't know if this person is like stalking me" I say

"The notes are obvious the person goes here and they know where my locker is, but I don't think they know where I live" I say

"You're kinda rambling" Ethan says slowing down when we reach my first period

"You're right, I'm just trying to find out who this is" I chuckle

"Thanks for walking me to my first period Eth" I say

"No problem, update us if anything happens" he says

"Sure" I say walking into the classroom and sitting next to Alfie

"We have a sub, we can go to the library and maybe pick up a few "how to solve a mystery" books" he laughs

"We totally could!" I say

"I just don't want to be in class" I add

"Wait do we have any work?" I ask

"Yea but we could just finish it quickly" he says

"Yea lets do that" I say

"I already have the work" he passes me a sheet

"Thank god there's no backside!" I say checking the back

We did it quickly and handed it to the sub, we were just hella frantic to get out of class.

"Um, could we go to the library?" I ask her

"Who are you going with?" She asks

"My friend, Alfie, " I say, Alfie was standing right next to me, was that not obvious to her?

"Yea let me fill you out passes" she says and does so 

At least she doesn't ask why we're going to the library because I don't think saying "we have to find a book on solving a mystery" would do i chuckle

"Let's go!" He says and we walked to the library just talking

"They left me another note in my locker this morning" I say trying to keep quiet so no one over hears our convo

"What the hell? What did the note say?" He asks

"It just had an "E" on it" I say

"That's weird" he says looking through the books

"Can't find anything on "how to solve a mystery" but I found books on "how to solve a crime", any crimes you want to solve?" He laughs

"I don't think this person has committed a crime before" I say

"You never know" Alfie says

"True but I don't feel like they did" I laughed

I was open with Alfie about this. I didn't talk to Ethan or Brooke about it as much as I used to. I guess we all kind of got used to this.

We just fooled around the whole time, I loved hanging out with Alfie he was hilarious, but he was always very busy after school, which sucked. So we never could hang out, I hear from him on the weekends sometimes but that's it.
