"Well I passed him this morning & said hi - stuff like that and he just looked so nervous and it was extremely awkward. " Alfie says

"He also seemed really tense" he adds

That's weird, Ethan would never act like that" I say

"Eliza, I honestly think he has something to do with this whole unknown number thing" he says

"What? Alfie, I don't think Ethan would even get away with that" I say disbelieving that it could be Ethan.

"Have you seen Brooke?" I ask

"No I haven't but I really think you should be just a little suspicious of them.." He says

There was no way, Ethan or Brooke could be doing this.

"Alfie, I'm not suspicious of you, why would I be suspicious of Brooke & Ethan? For all I know it could be you messing with me!" I say

He looked at me for a while

"Eliza I'm sorry" he says

"I'm sorry for stressing you out these few days, I'll stop" he said looking st his paper

"What do you mean?" I ask confused

"I was the one texting you"

I was on shock, I couldn't believe Alfie played such a sick joke on me.

"Alfie, I don't know what to say"

"I'm in a loss of words, I can't believe you would do something like that!" I say

"Well you shouldn't believe it, because Its not me" he laughs; 

Alfie would mess around with occasionally and this was added to the list of "pranks" he would pull on me.

I got a little mad, I now wished it was Alfie because I don't want some creep texting me; no one does.

"Seriously??" That's all that could come out of my mouth

"Sorry, I just like messing with you" he says

"In a very cruel way!" I add and just finish my work

It was third period, (science) we're in the 11th grade by the way, I sat at my desk that was long enough for two people. Of course Ethan sat next to me.

I got there a bit earlier than other times and just sat there listening to some girls conversation with the teacher, I waited for Ethan to stroll in. If he was coming.

Ding!

I turned my attention away from the door and to my phone

Hi, how are you?

I ignored it while I opened instagram.

Ding!

Answer me!! I miss you!

I just put my phone on silent, I didn't feel like texting this idiot today.

Ethan walked in, spotted me and smiled.

"Where were you this morning?" I immediately ask

"Uh I was busy doing something" he says

"Like....?"

"I don't want to talk about it" he said

"So how has your day been so far?" He asks

"Great, yours?" I respond

"Perfect"

"Have you seen Brooke today?" I ask

"No, she wasn't with you this morning?" He asks

"No she wasn't, I was all alone until Kenny talked to me" I say

"Atleast you weren't alone the whole time" he says

"I also talked to Grayson" I say wanting to see his reaction

"What? Seriously? Did anyone force you?" He asks

"I just asked him if he knew where you were!" I chuckle

Ethan & I continued to talk but the whole time I thought about what Alfie said early this morning, should I really be suspicious of Ethan & Brooke?

Maybe even Alfie...

Or maybe i'm just being paranoid.
