Your life wasn't an amazing one, around every corner you faced a new dilemma, pain and suffering came to you a lot in the past and you are sure that it will find you in the future as well. You have had to fight many battles some petty, some that almost risked your life, eventually you holed up in Ilios and disappeared from the face of the earth, anyone that knew you, friend or foe, would never be able to find you again, you just wanted to disappear. You didn't want all those around you to suffer anymore, still to this very day those battles play over and over again in your mind, all those deaths, all that destruction, all caused by you. Before settling in Ilios you had been wandering from town to town, city to city, worn torn areas in those places made it impossible for you to forget, impossible to drown out the screams. Constant fear of what was to come plagued you, trying to sense what would happen in the future often made your mind wander away from you at random intervals throughout the day. If there was anyone close enough to you, they would probably feel like you isolated yourself, they would feel like you were unapproachable, which was evident with the lack of companionship in this town, you never let anyone get too close, today was no different.

Awoken to the incessant droning of your alarm you begin your day, you know it would be the same routine you did every morning, you get up and sleepily stumble to the tiny bathroom, containing a toilet, a sink and the tiniest shower imaginable, cleanliness was not a comfortable situation in this place, with that thought you undress and squeeze into the small space and fiddled with the taps until a warm stream of water cascaded over your still exhausted body. After about ten minutes of letting the water pour over you, you begin to wash yourself and step out of the shower into to the slightly chilly room and proceed to wrap a light beige towel around your chest, turning to the sink you grab your toothbrush and drowsily start to brush, only slightly more awake after your shower. Spitting out the toothpaste and rinsing your mouth with mouthwash you turn off the tap and make your way into you bedroom and head straight to your wardrobe to get dressed, you pick out a rather average outfit consisting of a pair of dark blue three quarter length jeans and a plain black tank top. Your plan today was to go shopping for some groceries, to get out of your dingy two room apartment, maybe go and have a browse at a few of the stores and stalls that littered the high street, you needed something to keep your mind off of your past, to erase the thoughts of all that destruction even for a little while, but before that breakfast was in order, making your way into your cramped kitchen you begin to prepare yourself a meal with what ingredients you had left in the cupboards. All you could make was some jam on toast and a small bowl of cereal and a half cup of orange juice, you head to your bedroom to eat as it was he only place large enough to eat in comfort, plus you had no table to eat off of, on taking the first bite you really wish you had brushed your teeth afterwards.

Breakfast was done and dusted, you washed your kitchen ware and left it on the drainer to dry till you got back home, you walk out the door making sure to lock it behind you and made your way down to the front lobby of the apartment complex, why your shoddy building needed a front lobby you don't know, you were greeted by the lady that worked behind the desk. "Good morning [y/n], please be safe and have a good day." Her smile was way too bright for this time of the morning but you nod in her general direction to acknowledge her greeting but you utter no words in response and keep walking towards the exit, once outside a cold wind sweeps past and blows your [h/c] into your eyes and chills you to your core making you wish you had put together a warmer outfit for the unsuspecting chill in the air, you debated on whether you should turn back and get changed into something more appropriate but thinking of climbing those three flights of stairs back up to your apartment made you feel exhausted so you decided to stick with what you had on already, you thought that once you started moving you would warm up in no time, it would be a completely different story if the lift wasn't out of order, damn broken lift.
