10. Emily (Dak)

It was freezing in Arlington Texas and I was in AT&T stadium to see my boyfriend Dak play. It was Christmas Eve I had told him I would go to any other game but he insisted I go to this one. I was bundled up in my Cowboys jacket that Dak had gotten customized for me with "Dak's Girl" on the back. We have been dating for just over 3 years. We met our senior year in college. I was on the dance team and he was a football player. Weird you usually hear of the football player and the cheerleader but the moment I met him he had my heart. You know I got to love him to be out here in less than 30 degree weather freezing my butt off just to see him play.

The clock was winding down until the end of the game. I was nervous as hell. Not because we were losing or anything because we were winning with a 18 pt. Lead. I was nervous because I had a surpise for my girlfriend of 3 years Emily.

"Ready man?" Zeke asked patting me on the back.

"Nervous." I said.

"Don't be she has stuck with you this long." He said.

"That don't mean she is going to stick with me for life." I said.

"Man you just overthinking she love you. I don't think I would have been able to stick with you for 3 years." He said.

"Me either cause I anit gay." I said shoving him.

"Boy don't play." He said in a girly voice.

"And that's the game Dallas are now at a 13-1 record." The announcer said.

"Now Dallas Quaterback Dak Prescott has a speacial announcement." The other annoucer said.

I walked out to the center of the feild and grabbed the mic from the comentator.

"Can my girlfriend Emily please come down to the feild." I said.

I knew where she was sitting so I looked her way. She looked confused as she walked down the steps. When she got to the feild she looked at me confused.

"Emily we have been dating for 3 years now. I want to be with you for many more. When I first saw you on the feild doing your solo dance I knew you were the one. It took me a while to get you cause you wasnt for me at all. When you finally agreed to go on a date with me I was happy." I said.

I then got down on one knee in fornt of her.

"Emily we may be young but I know I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you do me the honor of being Mrs. Prescott?" I asked.

"Yes I will do you that honor." She said.

I slipped the ring on her finger and got up and kissed her. I spun her around.

"Wait until we get home." I whispered in her ear making her blush.
