3rd Person

You were sitting in the big conference room waiting to see if they call your name for the NFL draft. You sat beside you parents, aunt and uncle and cousin. It was the 3rd round and they still hasn't called you. You were beginning to lose hope. You knew this was a mans game and it was highly unlikely that a team would take a gamble for a female kicker.

"Okay we will begin the 4th round." The announcer said.

"Okay don't worry lots of great get picked in the 4th round." You cousin Cole said.

"Now speaking for the cowboys Mr. Jerry Jones." The guy said.

"Thank you all for coming tonight. We have had a lot of great choice. We weren't able to pick them all but we have a few more we would like to pick." He said.

"Okay the Cowboys select Ashli Breasly . She is the only female player in the league. Ms. Ashli please come to the stage." A representative for the Cowboys said.

You nearly fell out of your chair. You got up and hugged your parents and other family. You walked up onto the  stage and shook Jerry Jones hand. He gave me a Dallas hat and I slipped it in my head. He gave me my jersey with #5 and Beasley on the back. They took pictures and I sat down.

"Im proud of you Ash." Cole said hugging you.

First day practice

You were excited for your first day of practice with the team. You walked into the practice facility and went into the locker room. They had set up a private section for you beings you were the only female on the team. You went in and got changed. You went onto the feild and they fit you for your equipment. You had hurt your knee a while for be roughed during a game. You put your Tommy Copper knee brace on

A/N for those who don't know Tommy Copper braces are a god send. I have tendinitis in both knees and have pins in my right knee. They help tremendously so i suggest if you ever need a knee back ankle calf wrist or elbow brace get one of them. I have a back and knee brace. They work greatly.

I went onto the feild and began practicing. I started my laps to warm my legs up. I went onto the feild with the kicking squad. I started from a 20 yard attempt. I made that with ease.

"Come on Ashli give your self a challenge." Cole said.

"Im working on it." You said.

You set up for a 40 yard feild goal. You made that one easy.

"Okay now take a break." Coach said.

You ran to the sidelines and sat down.

"Good job out there rookie." Jeff Heath said.

"Thanks." You said.

"I know this may sound weird but I been watching your throughout college. Your really good." He said.

"Thank you." You said.

"That 57 yard feild goal was amazing. And it went straight down the middle and you got roughed while doing it." He said.

"Wow so you have been following my career." You said.

"Of course. Your leg is a god send. Bailey was good but I think you could out do him." He said.

"I wouldn't say that. He left a legacy on this feild. No one ever quiet knew his range." You said.

"I know this may seem unprofessional but would you go on a date with me?" He asked.

"Of course." You said.
