After resting for a little, we got up and walked to the crime scene. We didn't realize how messy our hair was and that our clothes weren't put on right.

When we arrived, the other officers looked at us quite weirdly which made me raise an eyebrow,

"What?"

"Uhm... You guys look a bit... Messy?" One of the other officers said.

Me and Jungkook looked at each other and our eyes widened with shock, "OH FUCK" we both said and hurried to fix ourselves.

Everyone just stared at us, it was really embarrassing oh my god. I was so tempted to commit suicide right then and there but there was already a crime scene so naw.

Jungkook cleared his throat after making himself look a bit more presentable and said, "what did you guys find?"

A officer who's name I'm pretty sure is Bogum tells us, "Well, so far we found 15 bodies and it seems like they were all killed the same way. They were stabbed in the chest and forehead." He says while letting out a small sigh as he shook his head.

"Follow me" he said as he led us toward the bodies.

My eyes widen at the scene. There was blood scattered all along the ground and the eyes of the dead people were wide and their mouths were hung open. It seemed like they were screaming or something before they were killed.

I kneel down next to one of the bodies and examine the wounds. I take a sample of it so the scientists can figure out what kind of weapon was used.

I let out a long sigh. I hate seeing all of these innocent people get killed like this. They could've had a family and kids. The fact that someone so evil could kill these people makes my heart hurt.

I guess Jungkook noticed the way I looked and put a hand on my shoulder. I look at him and he gives me a small smile, "Why so down?"

"All these innocent people were killed because of some idiots... I know I should be used to this but it just hurts to see stuff like this." I say while biting my lip.

Jungkook ruffles my hair and gives me a reassuring smile, "I understand how you feel. It's really sad seeing things like this but imagine this. Catching the culprit and locking em' up. Imagine the satisfying feeling of seeing em' get tortured in prison. The feeling of making them feel the same way these innocent citizens felt. That's what makes me feel motivated to continue this job." He said.

"I guess you're right. Imagining that does make me feel better." I say with a smile.

"See! I'm always right about these kind of things." He said with a cocky smirk.

I roll my eyes and push him off, "Yeah yeah okay."

Suddenly there's a loud gasp which causes me to quickly turn my head towards the sound.

Jungkook and I run towards the officer that made the sound. The sight that we see when we get there was not pretty.

"They... they..."

"They fucking killed a child."
