"Miles?"
"Tessa Williams."
"Miles, what are you doing? Wow. This is the first time we've spoken."
"Tessa Williams I must ask you something."
"Miles, what are you talking about? And it is six in the morning, I am supposed to be opening presents."
"It is Christmas morning and we haven't spoken in five hours. I have had five hours to think about this."
"Miles, you aren't making any sense. This is really confusing."
"Five hours sat awake with a mixture of excitement and adrenaline running through my mind."
"Miles, just ask the goddamn question already. I want to open presents."
"I know we have never met, well we probably have but not known it, but I feel like I have known for years. Like you are a childhood friend."
"Where are you going with this?"
"Will you go on a date with me?"
"..."
"Not like boyfriend x girlfriend jumping straight into it. A date where we see a film, eat and I pay. Then we can see where it goes."
"..."
"Tessa?"
"I will yes."
"Merry Christmas Tessa."
"Merry Christmas Miles."

I'm back!

I hope you enjoyed that. I am probably going to write a full chapter with description for the next chapter and then I can continue from there with texts and calls and so on.
