Anne greeted him with open arms and warm hugs, before driving him home. Gemma It seemed was over for a couple of days as well and it was like the whole family was back to when they were all younger.

It was nice to get away from everything, have a chance to clear his head. He woke up at eight each morning, took a run around his park, went to the bakery to see his old college Barbara who was thrilled to hear about everything to do with his own bakery.

Infact, Harry felt the load on his shoulders fall off one piece at a time, bt there was always that constant nag of Louis calling at the back of his mind and the depths of his heart.

About half way through the week Anne cornered him, demanded to know the real reason behind his visit.

“and coming to see you isn’t a valid reason?” Harry asked

“However much I’d like that to be the answer we both know it isn’t” She smiled pulling him into one of the chairs by the kitchen table.

“So? You know I’ll just ring up Liam if you don’t tell me” She smiled

“I wish that wasn’t true but I know you would” Harry sighed

“I’m worried about you Harry, You’re so young and you’ve got a business to run, you’ve come so far at such a young age” she said “I just like to keep an eye on you, so I use my spy”

“It’s a good thing I like Liam or you’d have to find a new informant” Harry laughed

“come on, you can tell me anything”

“So okay, there’s this guy” Harry sighed

“Louis?” She asked, Harry blinked before he let out a long sigh

“How much has Liam told you?” He asked

“The over all picture” Anne said “I want to know your feelings on it” She said softly

“I really like him mum, really badly but he just pranks me, he says it’s our thing but I don’t want it to be, he’s just so pretty and when he’s not being  a dick he’s the sweetest person” Harry sighed “but he doesn’t like me”

“You don’t think he does” Anne said “There is a difference, have you spoken about wanting to stop?” She asked

“No, but after my wrist I hope he’ll realise that this whole thing is ridiculous, I used to like it because-“

“You had all his attention and you craved it” Anne sighed

“Exactly, but now it’s so competitive and we um, kissed the other day but we’d been drinking and he doesn’t remember it”

“he said he doesn’t?”

“We didn’t really talk it through, he asked if I remembered what had happened last night and he gave me a weird look and I panicked” Harry frowned

“so that means he didn’t remember?” Anne asked incredulously

“Well yeah?” Harry frowned “doesn’t it?”

“Kids these days” Anne sighed “you need to talk, use words or you’re going to get nowhere”

“We use wo-“

“I mean, you need to sit him down and ask him exactly what’s going on in his head” Anne said

“His next prank to pull most likely” Harry rolled his eyes

“You’ll work it out, now go mow the lawn for me” Anne smiled, Harry shrugged and walked out to mow the lawn on the drive on mower and tried not to think about Louis or his cock.
