Chapter One

[Red's POV]

I drop my basket, and fall on my knees. On the wall, written in blood, says, 'I AM WOLF.' Another victim claimed by the madman. Or animal, as he should be called.

I leave the room. I can't bear to look at that anymore. I go to Granny's pantry. In it, there is an assortment of food. I move the Rotten bag of flour, revealing the secret safe.

I punch in the code, and it opens, revealing the quiver full of arrows, Bow, and Silver knife. I remove them. I remove them. I must get revenge on that rabid animal.

[Goldie's POV]

I scoot back against the wall. The three bears are fighting the Big Bad Wolf. As Papa Bear struggles against the wolf, he yells something to me. "Run Goldie! Get away!"

I follow his suggestion. And I run. And I continue to run, until I come to a house in the woods. I open the door, and run inside.

[Red's POV]

I hear the door opening, and someone running in. I turn the corner, gripping the knife. I thought it was the wolf, but it's a young girl. She looks around 13.

She turns around, and I recognize her as a girl in my village who ran away a few years back. "Goldie?" I ask. "Red?" She says. "Red! I'm so sorry I ran away without telling anyone!" She gasps. She sounds a bit traumatized.

"Goldie, where did you go after running away? And are you okay? You sound traumatized!" "I-I ran into the forest after my parents were killed by wolf, and the Bear family took me in. Th-th-the Wolf got in our house and the Bears held him off until I could get away. N-now I've lost too people important to m-me! I c-can't h-ha-handle the p-p-ressure!"

She ran and gave me a hug. I hugged her back. I understood her feelings. I had also just lost someone important to me. "Why don't we go. I want revenge on that wolf, and I'm sure you do too." She nodded, and we headed out the door.
