As soon as I knocked
the door, I am quickly pulled in by my mom.' Where the heck have you been, Patricia Ann? I was sick with worry girl ' ranted my mom, ' explain yourself now! '
I immediately cringe hearing her sharp voice. Usually I am home by 9 o'clock sharp, but this time I was super late.
'Ma, I am so sorry that I am late and I didn't mean to worry you lakini kuna kitu kimetokea and I will tell you later '
My mom looked at me with her hands folded and carefully scrutinized my face closely to see if I am saying the truth.
' Well, could you make yourself clear? Sielewi kabisa.'
' We are going to have this talk tomorrow morning ' she said, as she finally noticed how exhausted I looked.
' Usiku mwema, my girl '
'Good night mom, love you so much' I said as I hugged her.30 minutes later my bath is drawn and I quickly get into the bathtub soaking the heat. As I lie there , my thoughts hover back to the incident.
Who the heck was that guy? What did he want? How did he just vanish? I asked my self.
After some time I climb out of the tub, rub my skin dry and head towards my bedroom to sleep. Little did I know that my life is going to change over the next few hours.
