(Y/N) P.O.V
I sigh of relief as I step onto the small hallway connecting the airplane to the airport itself. I just got back from visiting my stepfather, Tom. I'm all alone because my mum had to go home a couple days earlier than me due to an emergency happening at her job. I walk out to the arrival gate and I immediately hear the screams of my fans waiting for me and the flashes of cameras nearly blinding me.
'Shit. How the heck did they find out I was coming home today?'
I internally groan but, nevertheless, I give them a smile. I sign autographs on my way out and hug some fans. Some airport security guards surround me and I make it safely out of the airport with my small carry-on suitcase. I had already sent my stuff back home in advance.
"(Y/N)!!" I hear someone squeal but before I can identify the voice, someone comes barreling towards me and pulls me into a bear hug making me stumble backwards a bit.
"(F/N)!!" I cheer with just as much enthusiasm and hug her back, "It's so great to see you!"
"Hey! What about me?" I hear someone else exclaim and I look up to see my other bestie, Brianna.
I pull out of the hug from (F/N) and go over to hug her, "Of course I missed you too! You two are my non-biological sisters!"
She giggles and hugs me back, "Gosh it's great to have you back, (Y/N). It's been way too quite without you."
I laugh at that and grin at her.
"So, how was France?" (F/N) questions me as I pull away from the hug.
"Umm," I say, glancing around at the crowd of fangirls the security guards were holding back, "We should head to the car and I'll tell you guys there."
They glance around, mimicking my actions and agree. We head to the parking lot and the guards finally let us be once we reach the car and are safely inside it. (F/N) was the driver, as it was her car, Brianna was riding shotgun, and I was stuck in the backseat but I didn't mind.
I sigh in relief and say, "Thank goodness that's over."
"Yup. It was getting hard to breathe in the middle of that crowd," Brianna adds as (F/N) starts the car and pulls away from the parking lot.
"So? How was it?" (F/N) asks me, referring to my trip in France.
"It was amazing! I got to go to Paris!" I grin.
"You are so lucky," (F/N) groans, "You got to see the Eiffel tower whilst I only see it on my phone while rummaging through the fridge for food."
Brianna and I couldn't help but laugh at that and I say, "Well, you could've come with us! Both of you could've if it weren't for your parents."
It's Brianna's turn to groan and she says, "Don't remind me. Parents can be so unbelievable sometimes."
"Where are we headed?" I question them as I realize that we weren't on the road heading to my house.
"Oh we decided to go to the mall and spend some time with you after your trip... unless you're to jetlag to come," (F/N) says and I roll my eyes at this.
"(F/N), you know I'm never too jetlag to go to the mall especially if it's to spend time with you guys," I reply and in return they chuckle.
"To the mall it is then!" Brianna cheers and turns on the radio and we sing to whatever song was on at the top of our lungs.
*TIME SKIP*
We arrive at the mall and walk inside, giggling like a trio of idiots. After a couple of autographs, we head to the foodcourt since it was already time for lunch. After about an hour of window shopping, we head to GameStop so I could get a video game that I've been dying to get since it came out.
When we get to GameStop, we separate and decide to meet up at the counter. I roam around a bit until I find the game that I'm looking for. I finally find it and after grabbing a new set of headsets, since mine was worn-out, and head to the checkout counter. While walking to the counter, I decide to read the back of the case where the summary of the game was so it was no surprise for me when I bumped into someone and found myself heading towards the floor.
I braced myself and shut my eyes but got on the brink of opening them after a while due to the fact that I hadn't hit the ground yet and a pair of arms were wrapped around my waist, preventing me from hitting the ground.
"Whoa there! I am so sorry. I wasn't looking were I was going and--- (Y/N)? Is that you?" a voice said and I am assuming that it was the person that had caught me.
At this statement, I open my eyes in shock and the shock merely doubled when I saw who was holding me.
"Chandler? Umm, yeah it's me. It's great to see you again," I reply and he grins and I can't help but grin back but then I notice the position we were in and blush.
"Umm... Chan? You can let go of me now," I awkwardly point out and he blushes too.
"Umm... Yeah sorry about that," he apologizes and helps me stand straight up before letting go of me.
"When did you get back?" he asks once I was standing.
"I just got back today. About an hour ago actually," I reply and he nods in understanding, "Are you with anyone?"
"Yeah. I came here with Sam. We decided to split up because we were getting different games. He was getting some Korean game and I was getting that actually," he replied, pointing to the game I had in my hand.
I glanced at the game I had in my hand and let out a small, "Oh."
"Well, what about you? I assume you're with (F/N) and Brianna since all they've been talking about for the last few days is you getting back," he guessed and I could see that he was looking me down from head to toe.
"Um, yeah. I'm with them. We're supposed to meet up at the counter," I replied, suddenly feeling self-conscious. 'Fantastic. It's been forever since we've met and yet I'm still shy around him. How marvelous is that?'
We stood there in awkward silence for a few moments until I decided to break the silence, "So... I should get back to (F/N) and Brianna now. I'll see you around then, Chandler."
I was about to walk away until a hand shot out and grabbed my arm, making me look behind me to see what the matter was.
"Wait! I mean..." he starts flustered, realizing he probably said that too loud. He let go of my arm, too. "I just wanted to ask you if you could just show me where you got the game because it would save me some time roaming around like an idiot looking for it and after we can just go to the counter together. So, what do you say?" he continued and I caught a hint of red on his cheeks making my cheeks develop a slight blush, too.
I smiled at him and said, "Umm... Sure, why not?" I led him to the back of the shop and to the aisle where I had found the game I currently held in my hand. We made small talk about what I had done in France and he told me about what had happened while I was away.
We reached the counter and we were slightly surprised to see that Sam, (F/N), and Brianna were already there, talking to each other.
"There you two are! We've been waiting forever!" Brianna exclaimed once she saw us and I might've been mistaken, but I could've sworn I saw Brianna's eyes light up when she saw me with Chandler. 'Did she have a crush on Chandler? How does that concern me anyway? I mean, we aren't dating anyways. And I've moved on, haven't I?'
"Sorry then. I had trouble finding the game I wanted and then I bumped into this dork, literally," I said jabbing a thumb towards said dork.
"Hey!" Chandler exclaimed, feigning hurt. I rolled my eyes playfully and stuck my tongue out at him whilst he merely pouted at me. I'll admit that he was still as cute as ever.
"That's enough, you two," (F/N) mock scolded us, "Go pay for your games. We'll be waiting outside."
They went outside whilst me and Chandler went to the counter to pay. Once everything was paid for, we walked outside to the group who was paying no attention to us and because of that Chandler was about to call out to them when he was cut off by a shrill voice saying shouting, "Channy!!!"
I could hear Chandler groan beside and I was about to question him about it when it got stuck in my throat by the sight of a brunette practically dangling off Chandler's arm. She was pretty, pretty short that is and her face looked natural, but, comparing her facial skin area to the rest of her body, you could tell that she probably put more than a pound of foundation to make her look white. In all honesty, she looked so pale you could've thought she was sick. I took in her facial features and realized she looked very familiar... all too familiar...
"Alexis..." I let out as realization sunk in. I don't know why I was so surprised, really. She is the reason why Chandler and I broke up so I should've seen it coming.
Her head snapped towards me at the sound of her name and a malicious smile spread out onto her face, "Oh! Hey (Y/N)! I didn't know you got back."
"Hey Alexis," I smiled weakly and her smile widened, "Chandler, you didn't tell me you had a girlfriend."
I turned to the boy and his eyes widened, "Girlfriend? Oh no. She's not my girlfriend." He attempted to pry Alexis off him and seemed relieved once he did. Alexis, on the other hand, seemed annoyed, well, she was annoyed.
"Not your girlfriend my ass. You gave me gift last week!" she exclaimed but got a glare in return, well, glares. I know what you're thinking, it must've been from me, but it wasn't. It was from the 3 people who were currently right behind me: Sam, (F/N), and Brianna and the boy in front of me. I was just standing there all confused because I did not know what was going on. I wonder what Alexis did to make them all act like this. I'll ask them later.
"It was your birthday and you told me to get it for you," he pointed out and I just stared at him shocked. I was sure that since I wasn't around anymore, he would've gone straight to Alexis, but apparently, that's not happening. I wonder why... Could he... still love me? Well, we did break up because he liked both of us, but didn't know who he loved. So it might be possible... but still, don't get your hopes up, (Y/N).
Alexis huffed and stomped away and back to her group of her friends. We watched as she walked off with her friends and Sam let out a low whistle and Chandler scratched the back of his neck in embarrassment.
"Umm... What was that about?" I questioned everyone and they all shared a look. This is what I really don't like about being away for a while. When you get back, it'll be like you're an outsider and your friends have their own little secrets and inside jokes you just don't get.
"We'll explain over lunch. Now let's head to the food court?" (F/N) told me and made her last statement sound like a question. Grins broke out on the both of the boys' faces and they exclaimed in unison, "FOOD!!!" and ran off towards where the food court was. We just rolled our eyes at their silliness and walked while chatting about girly things. While (F/N) and Brianna were talking, I suddenly remembered my earlier thought, 'Does Brianna have a crush on Chandler? Should I ask?'
"Ugh here we go again. Earth to (Y/N)!" (F/N) yelled in my ear making me jump and clutch my ear in pain, "Ow!"
She shrugged, "It had to be done. You looked like you were deep in thought. Penny for your thoughts?"
"It's nothing. So what were you guys talking about?" I questioned them. They both shared a knowing look but dropped it.
"Just how cute it would be if you and Chandler got back together," they shrugged in unison and my eyes widened.
"Very funny, guys," I nervously laughed, "We don't even know if he still has feelings for me." 'Well, at least I know Brianna doesn't have a crush on Chandler. Wait... Why do I care again? But if she doesn't have a crush on Chandler, who does she like? (A/N: seriously tho guys. I need an answer to this myself. I have someone in mind because I'm feeling sorry for Brianna. When the reader and Chan gets back together, she'll be the fifth wheel. Do you think I should give her a boyfriend in the story? If yes, who do you think it'll be? I already know who it's gonna be but I'm a curious person. I wanna know what you think.)'
Brianna grinned at me mischeiviously, "Wanna bet?" and with that, she ran off to Chandler, calling out to him while I stood there open-mouthed.
I turned to (F/N), "What is she gonna do?"
(F/N) merely shrugged in reply, "That's Brianna we're talking about, who knows."
"Oh no," I muttered and me and (F/N) started running after her.
'What are you planning Brianna?'
