(Y/N)'s P.O.V

I let out a yawn as I stretched my arms up and arched my back. I let out a sigh and picked up my pen and turned back to the math equation in front of me. The room was silent besides the occasional groan coming from (F/N), whose weakness was math, the shuffling of papers, and the scratching of pens as we vigorously crossed out whatever was wrong with the equation.

"Are you girls even trying to finish the equations I gave you?" my mum questioned, looking up from whatever she was doing.

"It's so hard. Can we get a five minute break or something," (F/N) whined putting down her pencil and putting her head in her hands.

"You had one no more than 15 minutes ago," my mum pointed out, the ghost of a smirk on her face as (F/N) groaned once more.

I chuckled and focused on the last question. Home schooling was hard but it was worth not getting stuck in a suffocating classroom all day long. So to find the m I need to add x and y and divide by 2. It seems simple enough. I wrote my final answer on the blank next to the question and passed it to my mum. She smiled at me whilst (F/N) looked defeated.

I smirked at her, getting a glare in return. As I brushed past her on my way to the stairs, I slipped her a piece of paper with the formula on it. Well, the simplified version of the formula as the formula given was so hard to understand. I grabbed my phone off the nightstand and flopped onto my bed.

I was surprised to see that I had a text from Chandler... With furrowed eyebrows, I opened it up and read his text.

CONVO:

C: Hey. You busy?

No. Why?

Nothing. Just though I'd ask

Just thought you'd ask or you just didn't know how to start a conversation?

You know me way too well

Of course I do. We are best friends after all.

Yeah... Do you wanna hang out?

I thought about it before answering. Should I? I sighed and typed in 3 letters 'yes...'. I got up and changed into more appropriate clothes for going out as I was just in some white silk shorts and an over-sized t-shirt. One of the perks of being home-schooled is that you get to wear anything you want. I changed into some high-waisted shorts and a crop top. I checked my phone when I heard it beep and walked downstairs. I waved bye to my mum and a snickering (F/N) and walked to where I was supposed to go.

Chandler's P.O.V

I was playing some games on my laptop when some clothes were thrown at me.

"What the hell?" I muttered as I paused the game and looked at the clothes that were thrown at me. A blue flannel and a pair of jeans.

"Put that on lover boy. You're meeting up with (Y/N) at the old playground," Sam told commanded me and I just say there, gaping at him.

When it finally sunk in I couldn't help but let out a huge, "WHAT?!?!"

Sam cringed and rubbed his ears and said, "You heard me. Now go get changed. You wouldn't want to keep her waiting."

I widened my eyes at the though and pushed a laughing Sam out of the room. I quickly changed and ran down the stairs to get on my converse. Sam watched me with mild interest and stopped me before I could step out of the house. He handed me my phone and I could see that it showed the conversation that Sam and (Y/N) had. He also held out the keys to my car and said 4 words to me: Don't' screw this up.
