Kiba was taking a walk with Akamaru, enjoying his day off from missions. It was a beautiful sunny day out with a cozy warm temperature. The only bad part about today, was no one was able to enjoy it with him, other than Akamaru of course. Everyone seemed busy on missions and such, even Naruto who was out on his first date with Hinata. Kiba snapped out of his thoughts when he heard his buddy barking at him. Kiba looked down at Akamaru with an eyebrow raised.
"What is it Akamaru?"
"Barl bark bark bark bark."
"What do you mean there's a creature lying in the grass?"
"BARK!"
"Ok ok, I'll look." Kiba looked over at what Akamaru was looking at.
To him it looked like a strange furry creature just lying on the grassy field, all he could see was the hair, ears, and tail, which had strange colors of purple, blue, and red mixed in with the black. He got closer to get a better look at what it was, when he was close enough, he realized it was a girl. She wore light grey sweat pants, black ninja shoes, and a purple shirt that showed off her shoulder. Her skin was smooth looking and a pretty caramel colored shade.
Her eyes were closed, making her seem like she was sleeping peacefully. You could also see a fang poke out from under her perfect looking lips. Her ear twitched and she opened her eyes revealing purple blue eyes. She sat up and yawned then stretched before she looked at Kiba.
"Oh.... hi? You weren't standing there jacking off while I slept did you?" The girl asked bluntly, making Kiba blush.
"Wh-What?! No I wasn't!"
The girl laughed as her fluffy tail wagged. "I was just kidding. I kinda just passed out here. I haven't slept in three days, but man that was a good nap."
"You're really weird... and... are those ears real??"
She nodded and stood up. "Wanna touch em? I don't mind." WIthout thinking much, Kiba reached out and touched the girl's ears. They were soft feeling and just like Akamaru's ears. It freaked Kiba out a bit but it also fascinated him. When he stopped touching her ears, he looked at her tail and she hugged it close. "Sorry.. I don't really like people touching the tail.."
"It's fine. What's your name?"
"I'm Daisuke, but you can call me Dai if you want. Who are you?"
"I'm Kiba, and this is Akamaru."
Daisuke looked down at Akamaru and her eyes lit up. "Doggy! Can I pet him?? Oh please~"
"Gotta ask him yourself."
Daisuke looked down at the big fluffy dog as he walked over and barked at her happily, dodging his head at her hand. Daisuke pet him gently with a smile, then scratched behind his ears.
"Your just the cutest fluffiest dog I've ever seen~"
"By the way... why do you have those ears and tail?" Kiba asked out of curiosity.
"It's something everyone in my clan has. But I guess you could say I'm a wolf nek- SQUIRREL!" Daisuke suddenly took off on all fours, chasing after the squirrel with her tongue sticking out of her mouth. The frantic squirrel ran left and right to get away from the hyper wolf like girl. Finally it found a tree and raced up it with it's little acorn in his mouth. Daisuke pouted as she looked up the tree. She then looked at Kiba and pointed up at the tree. "It ran away!"
Kiba stared at the girl for a second before he burst out laughing at her idiocy. "Well duh! You were chasing it! What did you expect?"
Daisuke turned back around and tried climbing up the tree but kept slipping. "Come back little squirrel~ I wanna be your friend~"
"If you really want it that bad, why don't you use your chakra to climb the tree?"
"No way! That's no fun! It's too easy~"
"Whatever you say."
Kiba sat down and watched Daisuke keep trying to climb the tree. Akamaru laid next to him, watching as well. It was amusing to watch this girl for some reason, and it's not like Kiba and Akamaru had anything better to do. Daisuke was funny and kind, along with being a bit playful. This is part of what made her entertaining. For the next hour or so Kiba and Akamaru watched Daisuke run around and play, but that quickly became boring.
They talked a bit more and decided to go around spending the day together. They went to Ichiraku's ramen shop, they went to see the Hokage faces, they even stopped by Ino's flower shop, but the three quickly had to hurry away due to their sensitive noses. Kiba and Akamaru enjoyed the company of their new friend until nightfall came, and it was time to head home.
"We should probably go now or Ma will get mad at us for being late for dinner again..." Kiba said and Akamaru barked. "Maybe we can ahng out again tomorrow?"
Daisuke smiled sadly and shook her head. "Sorry, I'll be kinda busy tomorrow..."
"Well when can I see you again?"
"BARK!"
"Sorry Akamaru.. When can WE see you again?"
"Thank you Kiba."
Kiba rose an eyebrow. That was clearly not the reply he was expecting. "What do you mean?"
"I haven't had fun like this for a long time now. I've been running around for so long that I never really had time to just sit and enjoy the view. I'll come back and visit someday maybe but..."
"Wait... You're leaving??"
Daisuke nodded. "It's complicated. But I don't want you to remember me, in case I never come back." Daisuke laid a hand on Kiba's shoulder, activating a genjutsu. She looked him straight in the eyes, tears coming out of her own. "Goodbye, Kiba." Kiba passed out but Akamaru caught him, surprised by Daisuke's actions. Daisuke quickly bent down to Akamaru and placed her genjutsu on him to. "Akamaru."
Kiba's sister, Hana found Kiba and Akamaru 'sleeping' by a tree where the first and now last, saw Daisuke. They woke up not remembering a thing about the wolf girl. They continued on like normal. What they didn't know about Daisuke was she only came to Konoha to visit her older brother Kai. Daisuke is part of a clan known as the Lin clan.
Most of her clan had died off due to war and she is one of the last. Though that may not be for long.. Her insane twin sister won't give her a moments rest. She has been tracking Dai for years, wanting to kill her. Daisuke hasn't stopped hopping village to village to keep away from her twin, though she would of given anything to stay with her new friends. Even though she wanted to stay, she knew she couldn't. She didn't want to bring Kiba and Akamaru down with her, this was her mess, not theirs.
Whether Kiba and Akamaru ever see her again, is a mystery to us all...
