The world is going to pieces and the earth is turning to dust.
All of this is placed in an excellent distrust.
I know the world should end. Look what we've become!
What, the fact that we've grown civilized and people aren't killing each other out of lust?
We're shooting people, killing countries all for an evil called money.
What about the girls who come out of it and the ones who go to help? The world holding together and trying to move on. The peace that we have in coming together to face this all.
For Christ's sake, our president is Trump!
This isn't about politics it's about what we've become and yes he has no experience but congress has to approve what he does. We still have a free right to vote and women are equal and so is marriage after all. Please look at what we've become.
Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, and Malala. We have great minds to come who are fighting for equality throughout the whole world until it's done. We aren't done yet, done give up hope. We still have more to fight for.

Ok it's not poetry but I wanted to put this down under hope because I feel like with everything that is going on right now we all need to wake up and realize that we still have something to fight for. This coming from someone who has had issues with being depressed. Take a minute and be grateful.
