Chapter 9

Gabes POV:

I saw it in her eyes when we talked. She was upset, but I want to know what. I wasnt sure if I should asked or maybe itll just go away.  I hated seeing her like this. I needed to find out.

"Hey Riley.  Whats wrong ?" I ask as I sit across my dinner table from her

"What?" She says with a confused look on her face acting like nothings wrong

"You know what." I say back at her with a serious face

"Nothing is wrong" She snaps back at me

"You know im only trying to help" I say getting angry with her

Maybe its just all these emotions consuming her. She honestly hasnt been very stable for some time. And I cant help but feel like a terrible boyfriend.

My phone started to ring. It was my brother... I run to the bathroom acting like I have to use it so she doesn't think I'm ignoring her or something.

"Greg?" I say confused

"Yeah hey. I woke up yesterday and found out about everything.." He "Oksays on the other line

"Its so good to hear you again" I say smiling with joy

"I bet. But Seth." He says from happy to worried

"I know."

"So what do the police think happened?" He says

"You and Seth were obviously on drugs from a party and got in a crash" I say confirming to him

"Ok good. They can't know. Especially Seth's dad. Richard" He says

I probably didn't mention but Seth and Greg werent actually coming from a party. See Seth and Greg are criminals and with that I wasn't suppose to know anymore. Its for my safety

"Ok well I'm coming over now to visit" I say

"Ok see you soon" He says laughing while saying bye also

"Come on" I say to Riley as I walk out of the restroom

"Where are we going?" She says in a bad mood

"My brothers awake" I say holding her hand with a smile

"Oh my god. Really!" She says jumping up and hugging me. "Well let's go" She says running to the car

We enter his room and of course he is already playing his video games. To be honest he look good. He has a lot of food around him but he's been dead asleep for quite a while so I don't blame him.

"Hey brother. And hello mam" He says kissing Riley's back hand as she blushes

"Nice to meet you Greg" She says still blushing "Um I need to use the restroom. Be right back" She says walking out

"So no more Tori I assume. Or is she just a distraction" He says going back to his games

"No dude. This is someone I really like" I say grabbing the second controller

"What's her name?" He says as we play the game together

"Riley" I say not saying her last name because she's Seths sister

"Cute girl. She kind of looks like Seth" He says laughing

"About that she's Seth's sister" I say being a little quite

"Excuse me what?" He yells slamming his controller down making a scene.

"Dude chill" I say getting up and trying to calm him down
