Chapter 12

"Riley, stop. Seth would never forgive you" Greg says still be held by the man

"Not if he doesnt know what really happened. Speaking of which, what the hell is realling happening" I say not standing down any questions

"Fine. What do you want to know" Greg says starting to sweat

"What does Seth do" I ask

"Riley-" Greg starts to say but I interuppt him

"Riley this Riley that, just fucking tell me!" I yell

"He kills people for money. He is a hitman. People are scared and afraid to death of him. Thats not something you should know about your brother. He is a good guy, just bad choices" Greg says starting to bow his head

"Oh." I say in shock

All this time my brother kills people. My brother would never do stuff like that. How could he?

*Phone rings*

"Hello?" I say as I answer the my phone

"Riley?" My mom says on the other line

"Mom whats wrong" I ask kind of scared

"Seth is awake" She says joy crying 

"Seth is awake" I yell in happiness

"No" The man says running away

"Im on my way mom" I say as I hang up

"Lets go, Ill drive" Greg says as we get in his car

On our way to the hospital I want to know more about Seth and what he does

"You cant tell him I told you. He cant know you know" Greg says in all seriousness

"Why?" I ask

"Thats the first rule of being in any relationship with him. You literally put your life at risk if you even think about telling you." Greg says

"Why doesnt he want me to know" I ask again

"Just like I dont want Gabe to know. Never tell anyone Riley. We dont want you to think we are monsters" He says sheading a tear

"I would never" I say

We get to the hospital and Gabe, my mom, and dad are in the waiting room

"Only three visitors at this time" The doctor says

"I need to talk to Riley for a minute" Gabe says so Greg my mom and dad go in

"Yes?" I ask Gabe

"Did Greg drive you here?" He ask

"Yeah" I confirm

"Oh ok." Gabe says

"That ok right?" I say making sure he wasnt upset

"Yeah its fine" He says hugging me

"Seth" I say crying as I walk over to his hospital bed

"Hey gorgeous" He says holding my hand "They said I can get out of here tommorrow" He says as he starts to smile

"Thats great" I say hugging him

"Riley I-" Gabe says coming in but stopping cause he sees us

"Who is this?" Seth says with a wink to me

"Im Gabe, Rileys boyfriend" Gabe says walking over and holding his waist from behind

"I see, I see" Seth says smiling even more

"Visit hours are over, Sorry" A nurse says from behind

"Ok" Gabe says

"Oh wait Seth" I stop myself

"Yea?"

"Lily is pregnant" I say wanting to see his reaction

"Yea I know" He says laughing

"Riley a word?" Greg says as me and Gabe are about to leave

"Sure, Ill be right back" I say to Gabe

"So, Seth wants to find that man that did that to you and Tori" Greg says wanting info from me

"Sorry, I dont know anything about the guy" I lie leaving with Gabe

"Well arent you two getting along" Gabe says in a moody way

"We are just talking" I say as we get into Gabes car

"Lets hope and keep it that way" Gabe says pulling out of the parking lot

"Ill see you later" I say as I wave goodbye to Gabe while he drives away

When I walk up to my front door it seems to be kicked in. First thing I think of is Lily and Mom.

"Lily! Mom!" I yell as I see all our stuff broken and pictures ripped

I walk to the fridge which has a paper on it

Dont worry they are alive. Not for long at least. Shouldve listened, you dont know what you are getting yourself into.

"Ahhhhh!" I cry scream

"Riley?" Greg says picking me up "Oh my god" He says as he reads the note and looks around the house

"What are you doing here" I say still crying as he picks me up all the way

"I told you, you dont know these people. Now that Seth is awake they are not standing down" Greg says giving me some water from a glass half broken

"I shouldve listened" I yell throwing everything down in my path while crying

"Riley?" Gabe yells as he walks in "What the hell" Gabe yells at Greg while he punches him

"Stop" I yell while Gabe keeps hitting Greg "Stop!"

"I knew something was going on" Gabe yells

"Stop, nothing is going on" Greg says

As everyone calms down Greg explains to Gabe about everything. He had the same questions I did. But he seemed to not be very bothered from it. 

"I knew you and Seth were doing stuff like that, I just didnt want to believe it" Gabe says

"We are getting Seth, and finding your mom and Lily" Greg says

But this is my battle. Seth has done enough. But I keep to myself and stay quiet. 

Im doing this myself.
