Gin Ichimaru x Reader

Disclaimer: I do not own Bleach, or any of the characters, Bleach and the characters belong to Tite Kubo. A/N: I'm so, so sorry I took so long to update this story. This is going be a GinxReader one - shot requested by balder614 . Also, the video doesn't really have anything to do with the one - shot, but I found it funny when I first watched it, I put the video on there to hopefully make you ( the reader ) laugh, or at least smile a little. Anyways, hope you guys enjoy the story :)

Gin's POV

There was a hollow issue down in the world of the living; I was ordered to go and take care of the issue, so I made my way to the world of the living to take care of this issue. I was in the world of the living and almost immediately sensed the hollows nearby, I made my way to the hollows shortly. When I got there, there was 3 hollows there, a shrieker, an acidwire, and a numb chandelier. Currently I was the only Soul Reaper there. ' Well, they certainly could've done better with back up ' I thought. I drew my Zanpaktō and silently approached the 3 hollows. It didn't take the hollows too long to notice me. The numb chandelier turned around first, followed by the shrieker and the acidwire. I got into a fighting stance, ready to take on the 3 hollows.
" Oh, just one Soul Reaper? " The shrieker questioned.
" I guess we'll just have to see which one of us gets him " the acidwire growled.

 Timeskip

I had evened up the score, it was now down to the acidwire and myself, I had some injuries, but what else can you expect when you're fighting hollows? My hands had some burns on them from the acidwire, but I managed to keep ahold of my Zanpaktō. I was about to kill the hollow when a flash of blue passed by, killing the hollow. I frowned, I knew the hollow could only have been killed by a Quincy. I turned around to see a * boy/girl * standing there, bow still in hand. My smile returned. * he/she * put their bow away.
" * y/n * Akiyama " * he/she * greeted. I opened my eyes, surprised, I didn't expect * him/her * to say anything to me. * he/she * smiled a little, " So, they give you a name along with that Zanpaktō? " ( A/N: Reference to Disney Hercules, sorry for those of you who don't like the movie, but I couldn't resist that one ) * y/n * asked. I closed my eyes and smiled again.
" Gin Ichimaru " I replied. * y/n * smiled a little.
" Well, not that it wasn't nice meeting you or anything, but I gotta go, " * y/n * said hastily. I grabbed * his/her * wrist.
" Wait, " I said quickly. I wasn't sure why, but I didn't want * y/n * to leave; at least not just yet.
" What? " * y/n * asked with a slightly annoyed tone. I didn't know what to say. I felt like an idiot just standing there like that. * y/n * pulled * his/her * wrist away from me. " Well? " * he/she * asked. This had never happened to me before, but I knew I had to think quickly. Then I remembered something * he/she * is a Quincy.
" So, did you meet the other Quincy that lives? " I asked in an attempt to start a conversation. * y/n * nodded.
" Yes I have, along with his other friends as well, I already know that he is a Soul Reaper, like you, " * y/n * explained. " My question is why your uniform is different from his? " * y/n * said/asked with curiosity. " I am a captain from the Soul Society, that's why my uniform looks different " I explained. * y/n * nodded in understanding. I checked the time an saw that I didn't need to be back at the Soul Society yet. " So, what do you guys do here for fun? " I asked after a while. * Y/N * smiled a little.
" There's all sorts of things to do around here, I can show you around if you'd like " * y/n * offered. I nodded.

3rd person's POV

It had been a week or so since Gin and * y/n * had met. Gin had started coming down to the world of the living more, to see * y/n *, he even got himself gigai. Gin had started to develop feelings towards the Quincy, what Gin didn't know is that * y/n * had started to develop feelings towards him as well.

Gin's POV

I've known * y/n * for sometime now, I recently came to the realization that I like * y/n * more than just a friend. I decided since I've been in town for about a week, so I figure I know my way around pretty well, so I decided that I would ask * y/n * out on a date. I decided I would do it once * y/n * got home from school.

Timeskip

* Y/N * got back from school after some hours. I waited about half an hour, before asking. I came up behind * y/n * and tapped * him/her * on the shoulder.
" * Y/N *? " I started. * Y/N * jumped a little before turning around.
" Gin, don't sneak up on me like that! " * y/n * half shouted.
" Sorry, " I apologized, sheepishly rubbing the back of my neck.
" So, what did you want to talk about? " * y/n * asked.
" Right, " I muttered, " I wanted to know if you would be interested in going out with me tonight? " I asked.
" Are you asking me out on a date Gin? " * y/n * asked. I nodded.
" Yes, that's exactly what I'm doing " I replied. * y/n * smiled and nodded.
" I'd like that " * y/n * said, blushing slightly. I opened my eyes, still smiling.
" So, what time should I be ready by? " * y/n * asked.
" Does 6pm work for you? " I asked, * y/n * nodded.
" 6pm it is " * y/n * said.

Timeskip

It was almost 6pm, I was finishing some last minute things, I'll admit I was a little nervous, but I pushed that aside, and went to go pick up * y/n * from * his/her * place. I got to * y/n *'s place, and knocked not the door. * Y/N * answered the door, * he/she * looked hot. I opened my eyes with a surprised look on my face, I expected * y/n * to look good, I mean after all, * he/she * always looked good, but now * y/n * didn't just look good, * he/she * looked hot. * Y/N * smiled, blushing slightly.
" So you ready to go Gin? " * y/n * asked. I closed my eyes again and smiled, nodding. " Let's go then " * y/n * said smiling. I nodded again, offering * y/n * my hand. * Y/N * blushed again putting * his/her * hand in mine.

Timeskip

* Y/N * and I had left * name of a restaurant * after dinner. We were walking around Karakura, it was starting to get dark, but luckily it was Friday, so * y/n * could stay out later. We were holding hands as we walked, it was summer, so it wasn't cold outside, which was good. After sometime I had to take * y/n * home.
" I really enjoyed tonight " * y/n * said smiling. "

I enjoyed your company " I said, causing * y/n * to blush a little. Some of * y/n *'s hair fell into * his/her * face, I gently brushed it out of * y/n *'s face with my hand. * Y/N * blushed again. " * Y/N * I know that it may sound cliché to say this right now, since we haven't known each other that long, but I  love you * y/n * " I said, hoping that * y/n * wouldn't find it too weird.

Third Person's POV

What Gin didn't expect, was how * y/n * reacted to his confession. Instead of finding it weird, * y/n * smiled, blushed some, then kissed Gin on the cheek.
" I love you too Gin " * y/n * said, still smiling. Gin opened his eyes, surprised by * y/n *'s reaction.
" Y-you do? " Gin asked, still a bit surprised. * Y/N * nodded, smiling.
" I do " * y/n * replied. Gin smiled again.
" * Y/N * will you be my * boyfriend/girlfriend *? " Gin asked. * Y/N * kissed Gin, who happily returned it.
" Yes Gin " * y/n * said happily, after the two pulled away for air. " * Y/N * mom/dad said it's time for you to come inside " * y/n *'s brother/sister called out the door to * y/n *.
" Okay, tell them I'll be in, in a sec " * y/n * said. * name of your sibling/ random name ( if you don't have any siblings ) * nodded, going back inside. " Well, I gotta go Gin " * y/n * explained. Gin nodded a little, in understanding, then went over to * y/n * kissing * him/her * on the cheek. * Y/N * smiled, blushing a little. " Good night Gin " * Y/N * said, smiling.
" Good night * y/n * " Gin said, smiling as well.
A/N: I'm sorry, I realize that I got somewhat OOC with Gin, and I'm very sorry about that. Aside from that though, what did you guys think? Good, bad, eh?
