A couple days later and Jackson and Anna havent talked but Jackson tries to though. For them tomorrow was the first day of school after fall break and Anna will be attending Norwood Shore High School or NWSHS for short. Anna and her grandma we're going to her old house to go get her stuff before school starts. Today Anna is wearing the outfit that Jackson got her when the fiasco happened. It's a black and red plaid shirt that was a size or two big, some jeans that she used a spike belt to keep her pants up, and she put her hair in a side braid but she didn't have a hair tie so she had to go ask for one from her grandma.
When she came out of her room to go see if her grandma had a hair tie she said "Hey grandma do you have a hair tie that I can bor-" when she was talking she saw Jackson! He looked at her and he saw that she was wearing the outfit that he got for her to wear. He started walking towards her and he looked into her blue eyes. Anna tried to not look at him but she couldn't help herself, she looked into his green eyes. She thought that they were going to kiss but then he just took her into his arms and whispered "I'm sorry!" into her ear and then he let her go and gave her a friendly punch while making them both smile.
"So Mrs. Smith told me that you'll be going to the school with me." he said as he looked at her in a mysterious look. "Um, yeah but I thought that you were out of school?" she said as she was kind-of confused. " Well I took a year off of school last year so that I could get some work done and get paid more so I can get into this college." he said as he rubbed the back of the his neck because it was a good thing to do but it was also stupid because he would have to go to 12th grade again.
Anna said ok and then it was time to go. Anna realized that she never got a hair tie for her braid so she ran back into the kitchen and Jackson had a hair tie in his hand. She smiled, said thanks and ran out the door while putting the hair tie in her hair. She got into her grandma's car, went on the highway and drove to her house. Mean while with Jackson he was getting her new room ready for her but first he had to go to the store to go get something for it.
He went and got some blue and purple paint for an idea that he had in his head, for her room. But before he painted he got all of the little girl stuff out of her room, kept the shelves, took out the bed, and every littl pony or little toy that he could find and put them all in the attic for safekeeping like Mrs. Smith told him to do. When he was done he realized that he didn't really need the pink so he took it back and got his $20 back. Mrs.Smith and Anna were only getting her clothes, some pictures and a couple of other things that she needs, but Mrs. Smith and Jackson were in charge of getting the furniture. Mrs. Smith ordered the stuff and Jackson picked them up and arranged where they go.
After a couple of hours they finally came back and Anna's new room was done, Jackson was covered in blue paint but he was going to take a shower after he saw her face when she saw the room. Mrs. Smith covered Anna's eyes when they got out of the car and steered her the way to her new room. "Is it ready Jackson!?" Mrs. Smith whisper to Jackson as she stopped. Jackson nodded his head and they went and opened her bedroom door and uncovered her eyes.
When Anna opened her eyes she gasped and she just loved it! "OH MY GOD! You guys this is the greatest thing anyone has ever done for me!" Anna said as she was starting to tear up. "Well it was-" Jackson was about to say. "It was all Jackson everything and it was his idea!" her grandma said as she took Jackson and Anna's hand. It was partly his idea but he was trying to tell her that it was both of there ideas but then Anna jumped on him and gave him a big hug and said " Thank you so so so so much!" to him as she started wiping her tears off of her cheeks.
They started to get all of her stuff out of Mrs. Smith's car and put it into Anna's new room. When they where done it was 8:35pm and Anna was getting started with putting her stuff away. When she was done it was 10:20pm and the last thing that she had to put away was a picture of her, her mom and her dad on her 17th birthday morning. Even though she had many pictures of her and her parents that one was her favorite one; so she decided to put it on her night stand making it face her when she would try to go to sleep.
