A Mad Wolf and His Lucy

Chapter 5 ~

*Lucy's POV*

We made it to the clearing behind my house in no time, and Adam laid me down slowly.

"Are you alright?"

"Do you honestly even care? I mean last night you were telling me to basically forget the connection between the two of us even happened, all because i'm 'human'. And now that you know i'm not you suddenly care?" I glare up at him and push him away, trying to stand to my feet. "I don't need your help. Go back to that blonde skank you were all over"

"It's not that I didn't want you as my mate Lucy..."

"I don't wanna hear it. Leave. I can go through this change without you"

Lucy no you cant

Im not going to have some guy help me through something like this when i barely know the guy for one and for two, he doesn't even really care!

Stubborn pup...

I start walking away from Adam and he lightly grabs ahold of my arm and brings me to him. "Im not going anywhere Lucy"

Then it all of the sudden hit me like a train, my bones started aching and I would have fallen to the ground if it wasn't for Adam holding me up, with concern written all over his face. "Are you okay...?" He asks as he slowly lays me on the ground.

that's the last thing I remember before everything went black.

*Adams POV*

She blacked out during her first shift, shaking uncontrollably, and whimpering. Then she just stopped, everything stopped it seemed.

Next thing i know her bones started cracking and then a beautiful black wolf stood before me. And when the light hit her fur just right, you notice a red tint to her, Then i looked into her eyes..

"The scarlet queen.."

That is no longer my name. Yes, I am the queen, but as you can see i moved on to a slightly... less royal form.

"I thought we had to be mated before you can talk to me in your wolf form." I asked with a puzzled look on my face.

Ha! I can talk to whom i please. You wolves know nothing of what i'm really capable of. But, as i can see, you my friend will learn very quickly. As, we are mates. But i must warn you, as you didn't want anything to do with Lucy at first, and rejecting her the way you did, its not gonna be easy winning her back. I can feel the push and pull of her emotions towards you.

"Oh that's just great. Im not normally the one to chase after the girl, ya know? It's the other way around."

She growls at me and glares.

I lowered myself a little and whimpered in return, "Im sorry.."

Now, since she's obviously alright, Im going to give her control back. And Adam? No need to call me your queen, call me Rose.

"Rose.." And then she was gone. A sleeping Lucy in her place.

"Alright little mate.. Lets get you home." I pick Lucy up bridal style and start walking towards her home. She sniffed and snuggled closer into my chest as i walked, with a grin planted on her face.

As i reached the tree line she hopped out of my arms, grinning at me. "Thanks for the lift, I didn't really feel like walking so i had you believe i was asleep" she turned away from me and started walking towards home.

"You got no questions? Nothing to say to me?"

"The only questions i have are for my so called father, and as for something to say... hmm... how's about, next time stay with your whore. I can handle everything on my own now." She glares, flicking me off as she walked away.

Well, she's gonna be a hand full
