As me and Crissy talked, I started to think she was quite an amazing young lady.. but that's not what I wanted her to think.
Our conversation ended, and she went back to the kitchen or wherever she went. It was close to being dark and for her to go home. Before she left she was talking to Jake before he came to see how I was doing.
"See you tomorrow, Jake!" I hear her say.
"Well hey Luke" he says to me, "how are you?" He pats my back and I lightly smile.
"Decent.. you, mate?" I ask in return.
"I'm well, thank you. So how was Crissy?" Ugh why did you ask..
"She was.. alright" I look around and he looks at me smiling, "oh don't smile at me like that.. she's interesting."
"I knew you'd end up liking her Lucas!" ..Why did you call me Lucas..?
Yeah, yeah maybe I do like Ms. Sanders. But who would want to be with someone who is paralyzed! I may be handsome and all but her... wow.
*Crissy*
After saying bye to Jake and Luke, Sara was waiting for me outside.
"Sooo how was it?!" She asks so excitedly."I don't think he really likes me but it was okay. I just feel bad for him, he had a great life. Wealthy banker.. really pretty girlfriend" I start saying, my voice a little shaky.
"Aw.. that's sad" she says.
We talk about it a little more until we reach the apartment. I was tuckered out, so I passed out on the couch. I wonder what tomorrow will be like...
