"Miss?" I felt someone shake me.

I quickly opened my eyes and coughed, "wha-what?

I got up and fixed myself.

"Sorry to wake you miss but the office is closing, you'll need to sign a sheet in the lounge if your planing on staying past business hours.

"Oh yes my bad."

"So you over loaded with work too?" The woman asked, "It's still your first day right?"

"Yes it is, but I actually have no work." I began down the hallway with the woman. "I'm just reading up on the topic for the meeting tomorrow."

"Wow a meeting on your second day? The boss can really be reckless. " she giggled, "his last assistant quit but the boss says that he fired her. Now she runs some local coffee shop, I say more power to her."

"Oh Jaehee?" I asked "When I told her I was trying for this job she tried to stop me but I insisted."

"You really have your work cut out for you." The woman said "My names Shina by the way but everyone calls me Nina."

"Oh okay Nina, my names Min Kyong, but you can call me Min." We arrived at the break room.

"Min." She let it sit in her mouth, "I like it. It sounds cute but strong, elegant even."

"Thank you." I grabbed a pen from the cop and signed my name and the time.

8 already?!
How did I sleep that long?!
I'll just make it up with 'overtime'.

"Thanks for helping me Nina have a good night." I waved and we parted ways. The hallways were very dark and it seemed that I was the only one staying late tonight, because no one else had signed. Once I got back to my office I plopped down in my chair and grabbed out my lap top.

Once it was on I opened my emails.
"Mr. Han doesn't have my email, how will I get the report?!"
I huffed.

Im pretty sure Mr.Han's office is right across from the room I had my interview in. Maybe he's still here.

I know it's impolite but I really need that report. I got up from my chair once again and waddled over to his office.

After taking a sharp breath I held up my hand to knock but the door opened. I almost had a heart attack when I found myself inches away from his face.

"I UM!" Quickly, I backed away and felt my face get red.

"Miss. kyong?"

"Yes, Mr. Han it seems that when we met earlier I forgot to give you my email." I looked away from my bosses face. Thank god the building was dark.

"Oh yes I'm assuming your in need of the report for tomorrow's meeting?"

I looked back at my boss and he looked completely unfazed, "yes, I want too do my best at the meeting so having the right materials would help a lot."
I quickly pulled my card from my jacket pocket and held it out for Mr.Han.

"Here Mr.Han. My card." I shifted as I stood and looked down at the carpet floor, I waited but once I felt him slightly tug at the card I let go and looked back at up him.
"I will get going sir, I don't want to intrude." I turned my feet and began to walk still facing Mr. Han.

"Of corse." Mr. Han turned and was about to close the door when a white cat walked out and nudged my leg. I turned and looked down at the white  fur ball.

"KITTY!" I exclaimed immediately turning a bright crimson when I realized how childish my reaction seemed. "I mean what a cute cat."

I bent down to pet its beautiful white fur when I heard a feint noise that sounded almost like laughter. I looked up to Mr.Han just in time to see his small smile go back to a neutral pose. He then held his fist up to his mouth and coughed to try and hide his previous reaction.

"May I ask it's name?" I looked back at the kitty.

"She's Elisabeth III." He answered.

"She's beautiful, hi Elisabeth." I itched the cats neck and began to stroke her head. "Did you know you are the prettiest cat I've ever seen." I spoke

I sound like a fucking idiot I thought.

I then quickly stood and fixed my pencil skirt by pulling it down.

"Sorry again Mr. Han. I will be awaiting your email." I then turned and walked back to my office.

Once I arrived at my door I turn the knob and began to close it, I heard Mr.Han's close too.

It was a strange feeling knowing that other than security we were the only people in this giant building. To think he stayed here all alone every night, yet he actually lives here so I guess it's not that bad.

I sat in my chair and refreshed my emails.

Here is the report you were asking for:

A link was attached so I promptly clicked it.

I read through the report and brainstormed ideas to make the meeting tomorrow better. Once all the pages were printed off I went to get them. The walk to the copy room wasn't to far but it was kind of creepy. I grabbed the papers and almost sprinted back to my office.

I then began to file my papers. I couldn't help but let my mind wander.

Was this job really as hard as it was made out to be?

Jaehee had stressed that Mr.Han was way to strict about his work and rarely cared for his staff, including his assistant. Yet I don't know what I was expecting, bosses don't have to give a rats ass about their employees as long as they're making money they're happy.

As if Mr.Han would be any different, and even if he was I would still do my best work.

Whatever I won't think about it anymore I have files to attend too.
