Special
~Coral~
Pearl and I finally make it home. We head to the kitchen to grab some water. As I go to grab the water pearl whacks the bottle out of my hand and shoves my hand behind my back.
“Pearl what are you in the FBI now?” My grandma who comes out of nowhere asks
“Yeah something like that”
My grandma laughs and walks out of the room. It suddenly hits me that Pearl saved me because my hand is still blue.
“Get up! I won’t tell anyone, just get upstairs so I can keep grandma occupied.”
“Ok, thanks Pearl. Just next time don’t shove me to the ground so hard!”
“Hey I’m an FBI agent” She laughs as she walks out.
I Hurry upstairs and I’m about to make my way to the bathroom when the door begins to open. I run to the other side of the hallway and hide behind the wall that’s in front of the office.
I watch as Ray walks out and walks downstairs. I sigh in relief. I jump when I feel someone grab my hand behind me.
“OH MY GOD! Grandpa you nearly gave me a heart attack!”
“Sorry! I just had to see it to be sure.”
“See what?”
“Your hand”
“Oh do you know about that?” I watch as my grandpa looks out the window as if he’s debating on telling me.
“It only happens to the special ones, when they meet the other special one”
“So I’m special?”
“Very special. You’re like a star that shines brighter than all the other stars, not because you want to, but because you have to.
“Grandpa I’m confused I have to do what?”
“You’re one of the special ones, you’ll figure out what it means soon, you might want to pay attention to your gift. It will answer more questions than I can ever answer.”
With that he walks out as I stand in the office so confused.
My heart suddenly begins to speed up, my breathing rate increases. I fall to the ground starring at my blue hand that begins to shake. I watch my hand as it shines to the point where I feel blinded.
Everything goes dark.

No one comes to save you now.
