Evy hears a knock on her bedroom door. Her manager opens it and says, ""Rise and shine. Today's your big day. Get up or you'll miss your flight." She groans and gets up.

She sulks to the car and pouts in the back seat as she is driven up to the airfield. She meets the owner and is escorted to her plane. She hears Bailando by Enrique Iglesias blaring from the plane's radio and hears someone is singing "I wanna be contigo, & live contigo, & dance contigo, para have contigo, una noche loca..." slightly offkey.

Evy makes a face as the owner says, "That's Luis. He's going to be your pilot today."

Oh great, she thinks.

Luis walks up to her and says, "Buenos dias, senorita."

Evy rolls her eyes and says, "When are we leaving? I'd like to get this overwith."

"Humor her," the owner says to Luis and waves off the pilot's warnings about the weather and the plane's condition. They head out.

"Have you been hear before?" Luis asks as they ascend.

"Excuse me?" Evy asks. "What did you say?"

"Never mind," he replies.

Evy's head is far away. She's still upset that she just lost two parts to a rival actress, Gaby Ray.

Believing that Evy was on the verge of a nervous breakdown, her parents and manager convinced her that she needed a break and packed her off to a tropical paradise. But from the minute she arrived, all she could think about were the parts she was probably losing by being here. Luis sensed her distraction and kept quiet until the plane started to sputter.

"What's going on?" Evy asks.

"HOLD ON!" he says as the floatplane takes a dive.

After it lands roughly in a lagoon, Evy asks, "Can you call anyone for help?"

"The plane is shot," he replies.

"Will someone come and rescue us?"

Luis shakes his head and points to the sky. "Do you see those dark clouds? No one will come for us until morning."

"Do you swim?" he asks. Evy shakes her head and then wraps her arms around him as he swims to shore. When they reach land, Luis says, "We need food and shelter," and then walks to a nearby palm tree. Evy id wet, scared, and extremely frustrated.

"Where are you going? You can't just leave me here!" she screams. He keeps walking. She follows him to a palm tree. He starts climbing.

"What are you doing? Get down here right now!"

Once Luis climbs to the top, he looks down and says, "Look out!"

Two coconuts dropping from the top of the tree only miss Evy's head by inches. She yells up at Luis, "Hey, you nearly knocked me out."

Luis says as he's climbing down, "I told you to look out. Now pick those up and let's go."

"I'm not going anywhere with you. You need to get me home now!"

Luis says, "Pick up a coconut. We need to catch some fish."

"And how are we gonna do that? With our bare hands?"

He smiles and says, "Just follow me, senorita. Watch and learn."

He carves two short spears from twigs, spears three fish and then leads Evy to a nearby cave for shelter.

He starts a fire to cook the fish and carves the coconuts. As they sit by the fire she asks, ""Where did you learn to do all that?"

"My father taught me." After a brief pause, Luis asks, "You don't spend time outdoors do you?"

"No interest in it, thank you." She gets up and says, "I'm going to bed. Good night." She curls up into a ball and tries to sleep.

A moment later, Evy feels a hand on her arm. Luis asks, "Would you like me to hold you? I can hear your teeth chattering from a mile away...We can keep each other warm."

She says, "Okay, but don't get any ideas."

He laughs and says, "You have made it very clear that I am not your favorite person. Believe me, your virtue is safe with me."

"Besides, you're not exactly my type..."

"And why is that?" she demands.

Luis put his arms around her and says, "Good night Evy."

"I hate you," she grumbles.

"I hate you more," he replies with a yawn.

In the morning, Evy wakes up and finds herself alone. The ground and trees are wet but the sun is shining. She calls out for Luis.

Evy hears Luis voice from a distance and hears him say, "Over here..."

She follows the sound of his voice. She walks around a rock formation and screams.

"Where are your clothes?" she gasps as he stands naked underneath a waterfall.

"Where I come from, people usually don't wear clothes while they're bathing," he says with a smirk. "Senorita Evy, you look like you have never seen the male anatomy before."

"That's none of your business," she snaps back.

"Evy, are you blushing?"

"It's just that, I mean, you're standing right in front of me."

"Just turn around or cover your eyes."

"Don't flatter yourself." Evy is mad. Before she can stop herself she adds, "And I didn't realize that part of the male anatomy was retractable."

"If it did, it was purely for your benefit!" he says as he storms out of the water and away from her.
