Ten's POV

"Ten, you have to be on stage in 5 minutes."

"Okay, thank you."

I stare at my reflection.

I look so old.

"Hyung."

"Oh hey Mark."

"Are you ready?"

I sigh, "Not really."

Mark frowns, "That's what you said last time."

"Yeah, but this time I mean it."

"You have that feeling again?"

"Yeah."

Mark's brow furrow, "You should go to a mental hospital."

"Yeah. I surprised I haven't gone crazy yet."

"Yeah..."

There was silence.

"So how's NY for you," Mark asks.

"Interesting. I'm glad KCon invited us."

"I know right. Very cool."

"No crazy fans events yet."

"Well that's because the guards are doing their job."

"Yeah I guess so. It's like their bodyguards and assistants. Yesterday I saw one give Jaehyun hyung water and Winwin hyung a towel."

"Yeah. I bit they're just going it to be nice or hoping to get a pay raise."

"Maybe."

"Mark, Ten go to back stage it's almost time for your performance."

"Okay."

As we walk out we bump into once of the guard people.

"Oh there you are. You're about to go up."

Instead of listening to him and continue walking, I hesitate to move.

"Um excuse me you have to go. You'll be late!"

In realization, I nod quickly and speed walk to backstage where the rest were.

When I arrive, one of the workers give me a ear piece along with a mic to wear on my belt. I work on fitting the piece in my ear, while the person put the mic into put on my waist.

Once done, he stands up, basically towering over me and swats away my hands to adjust my ear piece and attached microphone. At that moment I look that his face and my eyes widen.

"R-Ren?"

"Uh?"

He looks at my face directly this time.

"Hello."

"Ren!?"

"NCT! Get reading please," someone calls.

"I-"

"Ok showtime!"

"But-"

"Showtime man."

"Ren-"

"Don't mess up on stage you hear?"

"Can-"

"We can talk after your performance. Now showtime!"

Without realizing, I smile and pull her into a hug.
