Chapter(10) Run!

••PRESTON••

After a while, Henry came back and sat down.

   He was silent for a few seconds.

"Has Amelia ever said anything about me to him? " He asked.

"Not that I know of. " Mookie answered.

  "Has he ever asked about his father or anything? " He asked.

"Once, but Mama Evens would only say that she didn't know where you were. " Mookie answered. He banged his fist against the diner table, making her jump.

  "Preston, could you take me back home, I need time to think. " Henry stated.

"Sure. " I stood up with Mookie. We walked to the truck and got in.

  We dropped Henry off at a bricked three story house with a Benz, Yukon, and Challenger parked at it. It only made me wonder, Why the hell did he walk to the court?!

   "That is a nice ass house. " Mookie said while we were driving back to Wayne's.

"Don't worry babe, We gon  be in one of them soon. " I smirked.  She just looked at me and grinned, her one dimple popping out. Damn.

    I pulled up in the driveway of Wayne's crib and we got out.

   The guys were still here, chillin in the living room. We sat down on the couch.

    I figured Henry would want to tell Wayne and TT himself, and Ian wanna get in between anything so I ain't say shit.

"So where you two love birds go? " Hunter wiggled his eyebrows. I flipped him off and took the big ass bag of hot fries out of Blaze's hand. He looked at me like I was crazy and snatched them back after I got a hand full.

"Ok so tell me, what is the best movie y'all have ever seen? " Smokey asked.

"Oh that's easy, Kung Fu Panda! " Hunter shouted.

"Hell nawl, The Lovely Bones." Mookie said..We all looked at her.

"Fuck nawl, I remember when Zoe had made us watch that shit in yo crib Preston, Hunter was crying! " Dom says. Everybody but Hunter was laughing.

"Man fuck y'all, that shit was slick scary, it made me watch my surroundings even more! " Hunter said making us laugh harder.

"What the fuck Hunter, he was a man killing lah girls!" Blaze stated throwing a hot fry at Hunter.

"SO! There's Fagot niggas in the world waiting for a sexy light skin nigga like me to be caught slippin! " Hunter ate the hot Fry.

"Fat ass. " I said laughing at him.

"I worry about you sometimes Hunter. " Chris says.

"And why is that? Because I'm sexy? " Hunter asked.

"No because you're dumb ass fuck, how'd you even get in school?! " It's how Chris said it that got us to laughing.

"Probably fucked the damn principal. " Blaze ate a hot fry.

"What school will y'all be going to? " Mookie asked.

"That school down the street....Blaze What's it called? " Dom asked.

"How the hell you gon go to a school you don't know the name of? " Blaze asked.

"Hell I been doin it for years. " We laughed at Smokey.
