Oh, shoot! I just went there. xD

Two More Chappies Left...

                                        Sofia's POV

     ...

     Pardon?

"Excuse me, what?" I said in sheer disbelief.

Are my ears lying to me or is this a nightmare?

That's when Zayn looked at me and it seems as if he was challenging me to say what he just stated.

"You heard me, right?" Zayn said with a smirk and I slowly nodded.

"Yeah...Are you serious, though?" I asked him cautiously and he nodded.

I sighed and ran a hand through my hair.

"When are you planning on...?" I said, but he cut me off.

"Probably when we start the American Leg of the tour." Zayn said while sighing and facing me.

"Why? Is there a problem?" He said with a hint of venom and that's when I started to keep my guard up.

"Why?" I simply asked.

He had to do a double take to get what I said and I chuckled.

"Why what?" Zayn asked.

"Why are you breaking up with her? There's got to be a reason or reasons why." I said while staring at his eyes.

He took a deep breath and then exhaled it.

"What would happen if that reason was a person?" Zayn said and that's when I widened my eyes, already knowing why Zayn was breaking up with Perrie.

"Please, don't tell me it's who I think it is..." I trailed off while shaking my head in disbelief.

     I just...can't.

"Please, Zayn...Please." I said, basically begging him.

"But I...Sofia, I just can't be with somebody else when I like you. It isn't fair to myself and it isn't fair to Perrie." Zayn said while getting closer to me, taking hold of my hand.

"But what about everyone else, Zayn?" I asked him and that's when I stood up, but he gently pulled me back down.

"I don't care about everybody else. I care about you and only you." Zayn said, moving his hand from mine to my cheek.

"But, Zayn, I just..." I said while placing my hand on top of his.

"It will be different, I promise." Zayn said gently, begging me with his eyes.

I looked at his face and lastly, his eyes. I leaned in and gave him a gently kiss on the cheek.

I pulled away and I let go of his hand.

"I'm sorry, but not today." I said with a sad smile and he gave me one in return.

"I understand." Zayn said and that's when I sent him one last smile and went upstairs to go to sleep.

And to be honest with you, I would have never guessed what would happen on the following morning.
