The moon shone brightly in the dark sky. It's only company, the stars, twinkling like diamonds in the majestic light of the white orb. Below, a small clearing was visible in the thick, dense forest. A shadow crept along a winding branch. It stalked along, pausing every few moments. Then it lept into the clearing, and was basked in sliver light. The creatures' smooth, ink black coat rippled above the the muscular body. A panther. But no ordinary panther. Green eyes scanned the clearing, the wind silent, as though holding its breath. The panther let out a low growl, a growl that gradually become softer and softer, until it was no longer there. That's when the panther opened his eyes. But instead of the intense green gaze, it was replaced with a bold, flaring gaze of purple, violet flames foaming from the corners. The panther stalked around the clearing. A rustle of the bushes alerted the panther, twisting its' body to face the sudden movement. A strange expression cover the panthers' bold face. He let out a good tempered growl. That's when he spoke. "There is no point hiding Crystal, I could smell you anyway." The bushes shook and appeared a snow white wolf, with crystal clear blue eyes. They too, had blue flames foaming at the edges. The wolf bowed her head. "Greetings Reggie, I suppose you are here for the same reason I am" Reggie nodded. "The others will be here soon. All we can do is wait." There was silence. Crystal had a worried look."Reggie, do you think what everyone's saying..... do you think, it could be true?" Reggie stalked over the the wolf. He brushed his tail comfortingly across Crystal's back. "I don't know Crystal..... I just don't know......"

Time stretched by, the two creatures nestled together in the centre of the clearing. The wolf picked up its head and stood in the silence. Something was approaching, and fast. "Reggie!" Crystal growled. "We've got company!" The panther slowly stretched. He sensed the air before laying down again. "There is no need to worry." Reggie yawned. "If I'm not mistaken, we will be very glad of the outcome." Gradually, the thundering grew louder and louder. Crystal's eyes began to foam the blue flames once more. Reggie, though not as worried as Crystal, began to show the purple flames from the corners of his bright eyes. The sound was roaring now, trees swaying with the weight of the creatures paws. Then it burst into the clearing. It was a huge polar bear, its shaggy coat of ice coloured fur ruffled in the wind. Ice white flames licked across the creatures face. Crystal gave a bark of excitement. "Tundra!" The polar bear bowed its mighty head. "Greetings Crystal, Reggie." Tundra greeted. He gazed around the clearing. "I see that we are not all present." This time a different sound replied. "But now, Tundra, we are." Reggie let out a mew of greeting. "It's good to see you again Sage. What has it been, 3000 years?" The mighty stag lowered his head, revealing strong antlers made of wood. His eyes had blazing flames of green. "We are present." Crystal looked around, as though to make sure no one was near enough to hear. "Sage, is it true?" Tundra began. "Is what they are saying...... is it true that Irene is gone?" Sage, once again, bowed his head. "I'm afraid it is true. She is gone." Crystal let out a faint whimper. "If Ember finds out, she'll have a ball. Honestly, she's so full of herself, she isn't doing the right thing." Reggie complained. Sage continued. "There's something else. The prophecy......" Reggie gaped. "No! That's impossible! We haven't found anyone since the Ancient Book and the Phoenix's Crystal went missing!" Crystal was shivering with excitement. "Irene said we must each choose a guardian. Then, only then, will Irene be able to return. But we must hurry. Ember, Ari and Stella are on our trail. I still can't believe they betrayed us...." Tundra shook his head. "Then it is settled. We will find the new guardians. Hopefully they will find each other, like in the prophecy. Reggie, will you do the honours, as you are Irene's deputy?" Reggie nodded. "We will meet again, my fellow protectors. It is true." He gazed at the other three animals."The prophecy is awakening..... The SuperNaturals will return." One by one, the animals disappeared, leaving the clearing empty, the moon shining bravely in the cold, icy night sky.

That was part one!! Hope you enjoyed!
