Knowing Sophia

Ch 3

"Shh"
She sat down properly on the window.
"Sophia , what're you doing here?"
"I need to burrow you"
"You need to burrow who?"
"Get dressed, c'mon!"
I did as told, not knowing if this is just a dream or what. Good thing while I was getting changed she was fixing something in her bag.
"Ready?"
"Dunno"
She tapped the spot next where she's sitting and grinned.
"Wait, you want me to jump out from that?!"
"Isn't it obvious?"
"Can we just use the front door?"
"Front doors make more noise than falling out a window. Now c'mon or we'll be late!"
I sat down. She held my hand and counted to three. Honestly this girl is wild. I thought my life would end, but no, the fall turned out not to high.

She ran while tugging my arm, where in the world is this girl taking me?

"The pavilion?"
"The pavilion!"
"What're we gonna do here?"
"You'll see.."

She started setting up something in the middle of the grass. "What're you up to?"
She faced me and tapped her nose "all will be reviled" she started taping sticks, cylinders and stuff I don't know what she calls.

"Tada!"
"What the heck is that?"
"That, my friend, you shall discover in a little while"
"What is up with all this? And why do I have to get dragged into your mess?"
"Cause I want to pay you back for what you did a little while ago."

I raised an eyebrow at her. Think this kid had her brains too loose. No offense.

"Five! Four! Three! Two! One!"

And there, a miniature firework show happened. Some of the houses turned on their lights and turned it back off, does thins kind of things happen that often that they might know it's Sophia already?
When I looked at her, she had a full on grin plastered. Then she looked at me.

"You like it?"
"Y-yeah, would do. You?"
"I made this on my own DJ, and I am loving it!"

Didn't know when, but I just found myself smiling from all the dumb and crazy stunts this chick has been doing.

The next morning, I started walking before the others were done with their breakfast. "Hey squirt, why off so soon?" Dylan said in his all swag tone "there a problem?" "Help out the twins, they've got a big project to get to school" "fine"

I helped out the twins with their project. It was a miniature replica of Hogwarts. You know, from Harry Potter. It was sheik really. But at least the paint job was passing.

While walking, we just had to bump into Sophia. "Oh hi DJ!" She said enthusiastically, the twins cringed for some reason. "DJ? Really bro?" "That's got to be the most gay nickname someone has given you yet" "look at the bright side Dana, it suites him right?" "Got a point" and there , those two twits laughed off. "See you're being a big bro-bro" "seeing you're not helping"
"not their sibling"
"just beat it,"
"bye-bye then!" She then skipped off
I looked at Dan and Dana and they were both cringing at me.
"You have a bad tasted, you know that right?"
"Just get on with the walking."

When we reached the school, they took their project and I headed to my classroom. "Hey D, check this out!" Riley called me out to look out the window.
"What the—?! What's she doing down there?" I pointed to Sophia who's surrounded by jocks in the field.
"She messed up again-obviously-and seem like she really pissed them off"
"Aren't you like, gonna help her?"
"Who would? She pisses everybody off"
I stared down the window, watching as she gets pushed around and dumped at the ground by jocks. She attempted to stand up but one guy pulled on her collar, lifting her three feet high. Seems they're threatening her, but the weird thing is, she keeps on smiling like it's no big deal. And THAT pissed them off more, and she ended up being thrown away like a rag doll. She hit cart filled with baseball bats and the bats fell onto her.
"That'll teach her a lesson"
Conor said,
"What's wrong with you guys?"
They looked at me questioning as I ran down to Sophia, and to be reminded, I am not a knight in shining armor. I'm just helping out.
