Chapter 22

My phone buzzed interrupting my thoughts.

D: Hello!
N: Hey it's Noel. I was wondering if you are in for a movie.

Maybe I shouldn't stress myself over Steve and should give others chances. Maybe I should move on.

D: Pick me up in 10.

I wore a red long sleeved top along with leggings and waited for Noel.

He honked as soon as he reached.

*During the movies*

N: God this movie is so boring. Let's just get out of here.

I smiled and we ran out of the theatre. We were walking through an isolated street adorned with festive lights on both the side, it was very cold there,  I folded my hands and pursed my lips.

Noel offered me his hoodie and I gladly accepted.

N: You look beautiful today.

He said standing in front of me. Inching closer with every word.
"Thank you" I said lowering my head to hide my pink cheeks.

N: We should do this more often. We should hangout more frequently.

He said tucking my hair behind my ears. I looked him in the eye and so did he. He leaned in and planted a kiss.  I kissed him back. This is exactly how Steve kisse---

D: Stop. I am sorry I couldn't do this.

I said pushing him a bit.

N: Hey hey I am sorry, I was just caught in the movement.
So do you have a boyfriend.... Steve?

D: Uh..no we are just friends.

N: What about the dance?

D: It was scripted.

N: oh! You are beautiful and a genuine person,  I feel so good when I hang out with you. Will you be my girl?

He said shooting me a gaze full of hope. I stared at my feet not wanting to answer.

N: Please don't say no.

D: I think it's past 8, I need to go home.

I walked off him and just took a relaxing shower after reaching home.

It's final I will be moving out once I am done with finals.

"Sorry Noel for today. I think being friends is uncomplicated and better." I texted Noel.

My phone buzzed and it was Gray.

D: Hellowww!

G: Hey there! I am coming at your place. Let's just watch movies.

D:  Sure!

After few minutes Gray showed up and we watched hunger games together.

G: So did you talk to Steve?

D: No, he has some one more special than me.

G: Alison? Sorry to say but Steve texted me saying he is kind of serious with Alison.

I couldn't hold it any longer, few minutes later my eyes were red and I was crying furiously while hugging Gray.

G: Everything is going to be alright . Don't worry. Just remember that I don't about how special you are to Steve but you are very special to me and I will always love you. I don't want to complicate things between us. We will always be friends, I don't expect much okay. You will always be my precious and I will always be there for you.

D: Thank you so much Grayson. You mean so much to me.

G: okay now smile and I got you some Ben and Jerry's .

D: Omg Gray! You are the best I love you so much.

I jumped over to my fridge and we both ate a tub full of ice cream.
