Steve's POV I was lounging around in my hall. I called Darce over. We have our finals in 3 months and am super stressed. I need her to study with me. Me and Darce are science enthusiast and we both want to be Doc! So we study together most of the time.
*knock knock*
S: Come in Darce!
D: hey! She sounded low.
S: Hey? What hey do you know how tensed I am. 3 months left for finals and I am----
D: Shup! Close your eyes, take a deep breath and calm down. We have 3 months that is 90 days so each day we will complete 2 chapters seriously and we can score better!! Sorted?
S: Woah!
I don't know how but she has always saved my ass. She always comes up with full proof plans. Damn!
D: Steve! What do you want to do now?
S: Let's do 1 chapter of Chem and then we will hangout a bit and then biology?
D: Perfect!
We studied Chem for 3 hours straight. Darce hated chem, she came up with new molecular structures and some weird reactions. She took 50 mins extra cause she was weak in chem.
D: Finally am done!! Break time. Let's go out.
S: yea...
I was busy chating with this girl on tinder. She was hot and single.
D: Steve you are literally flirting with someone 4 years older than you. Hold your horses!
S: Common it's no big deal.
D: You are such a fuckboy.
I paused. I stared deep into her eyes. "Fuckboy" echoed several times.
*Flashback *

I was 13 when I first fell in love with someone. She was beautiful not hot. She had long wavy hair, deep hazel eyes and a bit chubby face. Back then when I was in Amsterdam I fell in love with Pearl Norman, my classmate. We were together for 2 years and friends for 4 damn years. I still remember how we shared our tiffins and how I punched a guy when he made fun of her hair. One fine evening we met in a garden which was near my house. I still remember the weather was very cold and me and Pearl sat extremely close to each other. That was the day I had my first kiss. We kissed each other and promised we will never stay away from each other and we will never date anyone else. With a wide smile plastered on my face and a happy heart I went back home.
I went to my room and I was thinking about Pearl. My mom interrupted my thought and announced that we were moving to Texas in a week. I argued and tried my best to stay in Amsterdam but to no avail.
The other day after school I informed Pearl about me moving to Texas.
She cried in front of me but I stood there completely helpless. I tried to engulfed her in my warm embrace but she pushed me firmly.
Pearl: you promised Steve. You are a liar. I will never talk to you again. I hate you.
She left me there. Alone. From that day onwards I never felt love for anyone. I started using girls. Feelings are nothing for me.
*flashback ended*
Darci's Pov
D: You are such a fuck boy.
He paused and stared in my eyes for a while. He clenched his head and his eyes turned red.

I pursed my lips and did not utter any thing. My phone rang breaking the awkward silence.
Gray: hey Darci, its Gray!
D: Hello! Ssup?
G: please come over and teach me biology.
D: sure I will be there in a while.
I hugged Steve and made my way to Gray's place. Mr Dolan greeted me and asked me to wait in Gray's room as he had to get some important work done.
I sat on his bed and saw his diary. I wanted to read it so badly but I don't not want to hinder his privacy. I decided to sneak a peek. I flipped to the last page of his diary. It said.
