~Chapter 16~ Reunions

Your POV
"I missed you......" I turned around and hugged my brother, Daniel. "(Y/N), I need to tell you something." He said. "What?" I asked. "I'm.....a Shadow Knight...." He said looking down. "Don't be so down, I'm a Shadow Knight too." I said. I then noticed him wearing a cloak. How did I not notice that?! "You should really put down your hood, they'll be suspicious." I said. "Says the one with a hood on." He said. "At least they know who I am!" I said. "Ugh, you beat me. Anyway, who are 'they'?" He asked. "There's a lot. But of course the main people you need to know are Lord Aaron, Aphmau, Garroth, Laurance, Dante, Vylad, just to name a few." I said. Then Daniel gets pinned to a tree by Laurance, who looked real angry. "Who are you?! What's your buisness with (Y/N)?! I know you're a Shadow Knight so what are you doing here?!" Laurance yelled. "I'm Daniel, (Y/N)'s brother. I came back to meet (Y/N) again. I also know you're a Shadow Knight and I'm a good Shadow Knight, not bad. I believe you are Laurance Zvahl, I've heard about you from Vylad Ro'meave." Daniel said calmly. "What the?! How am I sure you're not a spy?!" Laurance yelled. "I'll show you how if you let me." Daniel said. "Laurance, calm down, this is my brother, Daniel." I said trying to calm Laurance down. "What's with all the noise here?" I heard Vylad say behind me. "Vylad?" Daniel asked. "Daniel?" Vylad asked. "I missed you." Daniel gets out of Laurance's grip and faces Vylad. "It's been too long. How long was it? 7 years? 8 years?" Vylad asked. "10 years..." Daniel said. No wonder Vylad looks familiar. He and I were best friends and we would take care of Daniel while his parents were at a meeting with Aaron's and my parents. My parents were the guards of Aaron's parents. That's why they need to be at meetings. Zane was always with his parents at the meeting. I never got to know him well. "Vylad, do you remember me?" I asked. "No, sorry." Vylad said. "It's me, (Y/N)." I said. "(Y/N) Dirus?" Vylad asked. "Yeah, Daniel's sister. Do you remember?" I asked. "(Y/N)!" Vylad said and hugged me. "Missed me much?" I asked. "Yes." Vylad said. I laughed at his answer. "Ahh, still the same I see." I said. "Eh, I don't care." Vylad said. I laughed at his reaction. "Does your brother remember me or did I forget that he faked his death before we met?" I asked. "Second option." Vylad said. "Oh..." I said. "Where is he by the way?" Vylad asked me. "He's..... stuck in Irene's dimension. With.....Zane..." I said as I looked down while clenching my fists. "Oh...Sorry for asking." He said. "It's okay, you have the right to know where your brother is." I said. "Zane?" Daniel asked. "Yeah, the Ro'meave kid who stayed at the meetings while Vylad and I took care of you." I said. "You mean the high priest of O'khasis?" Daniel asked. "Yeah." I said. "He's the one who killed our village." Daniel said. "Don't think I don't know that. He made me killed our village." I said, guilty of what happened. "Y-You killed our village?!" Daniel asked. "I can't say. I touched the amulet Zane gave Jacob. Zane gave the amulet so it's partially his fault but I was the one touching the amulet, causing everyone to die so it's also part of my fault." I said. "Okay, I understand." Daniel said. "D-Daniel?" Laurance asked. "Hmm?" Daniel asked. "It's me, Laurance." Laurence said. "B-Brother?" Daniel asked. "Brother?! But it was just us before." I said. "He's my brother since Hayden adopted me. Who's probably dead now..." Daniel said. "Adopted? You're now a Zvahl?!" I asked. "You're his sister, I'm his brother, then I can't be with you. We're technically siblings now." Laurance said. "Yeah, with Cadenza." I said. "Since we're all having a reunion, why not a group hug?" Vylad suggested. "Sure." I said. "I'm up for it." Laurance said. "Why not?" Daniel said. We had a big group hug.
Aaron's POV
I saw (Y/N) hugging a few boys. My heart is aching. Is this jealousy? Those boys are Laurance, Vylad, and someone with a hood on. Who's that?

I know, I know, it took a few weeks to publish this and you guys might hate me but it's because I have school flooding in with assignments, projects, and a few others. I'm trying my best to work on the books ok? Christmas break is coming up sooo..... yeah. I might do a Christmas special so yeah. Just to let you know, I'm might post the chapter for my other book tomorrow so wait. Thank you for being patient and G-NIGHT!!
