Everyone came down on time for breakfast and they had scrambled eggs . "Come on guys , I'll give you you're uniforms" I said leading them to the laundry room . I handed them out one by one . The students came out wearing their uniforms . I looked at them proudly . Buddy's collar was twisted so I helped him with that . I led them to the classroom . I planned out the lessons the night before . "Ok guys , line up , side by side and I'll tell you where to go" I instructed . Peanut groaned . "You ok" I asked . "Yes" she replied . I carried Nelly to a corner with toys . Roxy and Ernie followed me to another corner with toys and a colouring book with colours of all types . I brought Tiny to a desk and told him to sit there , same with Purry . I brought Buddy to a desk too and told him to sit there too . Freckles and Peanut sat at a desk with two computers on it . Rose sat at a small desk . "Ok guys , I'm going to assign ye things to do and I'll go around to you" I said . "Ok" they replied . I came over to Nelly . I got out the Jumbo Lego blocks and left her to play while I went to see Freckles . I gave him a sheet with ten sums on it . "Freckles , try and get these done . We'll correct them together when you are done" I explained . "Ok" he replied . I gave him a pencil and rubber . I went over to Rose and I gave her maths to do aswell . I told her I' d correct it with her too . Tiny was staring out the window . I gave him maths too . I let Ernie and Roxie play with the toys . I gave maths to Peanut and Purry as well . I came to Nelly and I played with her . Buddy got maths as well . I decided to create a roll call on the laptop so I did that while the students worked . "Buddy" I called out . "Ye" he replied . "Ernie is here" I said . "Freckles" . "Yup" . "Nelly is here" I said for her . "Peanut" I called . "Here" she replied . "Purry" . "Ye" . "Rose" . "Here" . "And Roxie is here" I said , finally. They all carried on with what they were doing . "Ok guys , I'll go around the room and correct whatever you were doing" I told them . I got a sticker and went to Nelly . She matched her lego correctly so I gave her a sticker . "Well done , Nelly" I praised her . She giggled . I went to Purry and he looked a bit stuck with his maths . He turned around and he saw me coming . "I'm stuck" he said . He sounded panicky . "It's ok" I replied . "Can you help me" he asked . "Of course" I replied . I got a chair and sat beside him . They were divison sums ."Ok these look hard but I'll help you" I reassured him . Purry relaxed a bit . "Read out the sum to me" I asked him . "2 divided by 426" he replied , slowly . "Ok , what is 2 divided by 4" I asked him . "2" he replied . "Very good , so write that down for me" I said . He did so . "2 divided by 2" I asked . "1" he replied . "2 divided by 6" I asked . He thought for a while . "Count every second number until you get to 6" I suggested . "2 , 4 ,6" he answered . "Good , how many numbers did you count" I asked . "3" he replied . "Excellent , that's the answer" I praised him . He smiled and wrote it down . "Can you say the numbers In a full word" I asked . "Two hundred and thirteen" he replied . I got a sticker and stuck it onto his uniform . He looked proud of himself . I left him and went over to Tiny . I sat beside him and corrected the sums with him . He had multiplication sums . He got them all correct. I was proud of him. I helped everyone else out. The break time bell rang and they rushed out. We all walked to the table and I gave them fruit and a few snacks. I brought them to the English room and I went to the locker. I opened it and took out the handwriting books. I handed them out. They worked away on it. I gave Peanut a reading comprehension. I did some of my own work. "Miss" Peanut called. I giggled. "Yes, Peanut" I replied. "I'm stuck" she said. "Read the question slowly" I told her.
