On school Tuesday, when i sat down in class, lila immediately turned around and slapped a paper on my desk, i started at it as if it was toxic”By the way i'm sorry for last year, i didn't realize you were the same person i bullied…...¨ I apologized even though i technically didn't bully her ¨What is this?” i asked staring at it
It was invitation
¨you want me to come to your birthday party?” i asked, she stared at me ¨Funny, no. I found this in my brother's room¨ She explained
¨Oh?¨ i was confused
She sighed ¨This is an invitation to his ex-girlfriend's graduation party, i hate her, i need you to be his fake girlfriend because she either is wanting him to come to see if he is still pining over him or she really wants him back, and i can't have that, she is snobby and a loser¨ She finished when the teacher came in
¨LIla, shh!¨He demanded, after class we talked at her locker ¨When is this?¨ i asked as she grabbed some books out her locker
¨Saturday.¨She said then simply walked away, i didn't want to do this, i needed to tell my friends, i did  want to see fill-in Josh again though.
On Saturday Lila picked me up and brought me to her house, we walked in and she immediately brought me to her room ¨So here is the plan….¨She said, her room was a dark blue, she had a few band posters on her wall, and she had black covers on her bed, and lots of hair dye on her dresser and on the ceiling were quotes, they were cool ¨The plan?¨I asked confused
¨Yes, the way i'm going to tell him¨She sat on her bed
¨He doesn't know?!¨I yelled,
¨Shhhhh¨She looked back at the door then shook her head twice. Here I’d thought he had been the mastermind behind this plan and that Lila had reluctantly arranged it but he didn’t want this at all. Great, he was going to think I wanted him or something when all he really wanted was his old girlfriend back. It was Bec who didn’t. “Believe me, he will be happy that he doesn’t have to go alone.”
I nodded wanting to go home, she went into the hall and told me to wait but i couldn't i heard a door shut and Lila speak ¨Where ya going¨She asked
¨None of your business¨he said
¨Well i know where you're going and i have you a date¨She stated
¨What?¨
¨you don't have to go alone¨She said
¨A date? Are you serious?¨ He sounded worried and confused,
¨Im serious¨

¨No lila no. Tell  the poor girl she can leave, i don't need a date¨He explained ¨Listen, she is no good for you, so i have you a date, i know you're out the room so show up¨She said louder, How did she know?
My shoulders raised and fell and i stepped out ¨Emma?¨he looked at me then at Lila ¨Emma?!¨ He asked
She smiled as if she accomplished something and placed her hand on his shoulder ¨Yes¨ She said, he looked at me and said ¨Ÿou don't have to come with me, you look amazing but i want to go alone no offense.¨
¨None taken¨ i said , it was quiet so i added ¨I should go home anyway¨ I said, after Lila argueing with him, he agreed and we were going to a party together….he didnt seem mad ¨Thanks for coming Emma¨He opened the car door for me
When he got in I said ¨no problem.¨
