Lily's POV

I wiped my forehead in relief, if they were drug dealers or something, I would try to run away faster. Yes, I am still trying to escape, it might not look like it but I am, I mean, they basically kidnapped me. Huh, maybe the author should've made this a kidnapped by whoever these guys are. Anyways, back to my escaping monolog, so, I don't want to be here, I like these guys, but they basically took away my freedom, and I want it back. So, I plan to leave tonight, as long as nothing comes up, just because I was on the streets, didn't mean I was unhappy, there was nobody to boss me around, plus I didn't have to go to school, it was great. I looked out the window, the sun was beginning to set, which means only an hour or so until my plan will commence, man I feel like a super villain. I rested my head against luke's chest, fiddling with his fingers, I hated when adults sat talking it was so boring, Luke must've noticed this, because he handed me a phone putting on a random song, and handing me a pair of white earbuds.

"Thanks," I mumbled, listening to some song, I turned on the phone to check who it was by, All Time Low, Damned if I Do Ya (Damned if I Don't.) The song was good, I tapped my foot lightly to the music, I heard faint laughter from the boys. When the song ended I checked what the next one was, Heartbreak Girl by 5sauce, strange. "Yo lip ring," I said, not realizing how loud I said it since the earbuds were playing so loud, I took them out quickly.

"I have a question!" I declared, Luke laughed,

"what is it?" He asked I looked back down at the phone shoving it in his face,

"what is 5 sauce, is it like, ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard, relish, and plumb sauce?" I asked, Luke's eyes widened,

"uh, I think it's time you go to bed, say goodnight to everyone!" Luke shouted carrying me by my armpits,

"um okay, uh goodnight guys," I said, a confused look on my face. I strained my neck, trying to look at Luke, though I only caught a glimpse of his hair.

"But m' not tired" I complained,

"m' hungry" I complained more, drawing out the y. Luke threw me onto the bed,

"okay then, I will bring you up some food, how bout, mac and cheese?" He asked, I simply nodded, to tell you the truth I hate mac and cheese, but now is the perfect time to escape. I waited until I heard him make it all the way downstairs. I sprung up out of the bed, quickly making my way to Luke's closet, slowly opening so it wouldn't make much noise, I grabbed one of his sweaters, and quickly ran to the window, there was a fire escape, so thankfully I won't have to break my ankle trying to get out. As quietly as I could I ran down the fire escape, and onto the road. It was a good thing I knew where I was, there was also a park  nearby, with thick trees to hide in.

It was about a fifteen-minute walk, meaning I could make it there in ten if I ran, so before Luke could find out I was gone, sprinting down the road, I finally made it to the park. Whipping my head left to right, I found an easy tree to climb, and made my way up it. I was finally able to sit down, my chest burned from the running, and my throat was dry and scratchy. I tried to calm myself down by taking deep breaths, finally, I was able to calm myself down. Knowing that Luke would probably be in a fuss looking for me, I'll need to be as quiet as possible.

                                                               ~Ten Minutes Later~

I sat, growing more and more tired as the night grew on, hoping that Luke had finally given up looking for me. Not being able to keep my eyes opened I shut them, beginning to drift off.

I was awakened to the sound of my named being called, my eyes widening in shock, I listened closely, it sounded like Calum, and someone else, I couldn't recognize the voice. It must be one of the guys I just met today. Paranoid that they could see me I tried making my way up the tree, just a little bit higher, I thought as I climbed, it was dark, if I make one wrong move I could,

"ah!" I screamed as the branch I was on broke under my foot, luckily I was able to stand on the small stub of a branch that was left, but I wasn't able to take back that scream. I heard running the sound got louder and louder, I knew it was Calum, and whoever else,

"great just great"  I mumbled looking down, I could see a faint light, most likely a phone or flashlight.

"Lily, sweetie can you come down?" I heard Calum call up to me, I could hear the other guy talking as well, must be calling the others. I am not ready to give up now, hugging the trunk of the tree I let small tears fall down, my fallen tears.

"Um no thanks I'd much rather stay up here," I called down, trying to stop the small sobs coming out of my mouth, sadly I couldn't help them. I climbed down, one branch lower, that way I could sit down. I heard more voices, I was beginning to get anxious, I was definitely in trouble, maybe I should just climb down. I can hear them talking,

"Lily Hunny please come down," it was Luke, I clutched the sleeves of the sweater I was wearing tightly, it is huge on me. Slowly I climbed down the tree hesitating on the last branch, I looked at all of them guiltily, everyone looked so tired, and here I was, a tiny fourteen-year-old girl, with tearstained cheeks, tangled hair, and a huge sweater. I looked over to where the car was, "is that the car?" I asked whispering, as I pointed towards the car, Luke nodded. Silently I walked over to the car, until I felt strong arms wrap around my waist, I knew it was Luke so I stopped, I felt his tears wet the sweater, as he whispered,

"please, don't ever do that again."
