I'll use those harsh hand-held explosions
To blow those "larger" brains out
To reveal their true deterioration
Before...I see your large-small grabbing hands
Grabbing our men, women, children.
But i'll use my own to strangle one
Before...I'll use these chains u use to chain us
To make a lovely scarf by your neck.
They will be ur exequy totems
Before...I'll use this-your- shiny sharp lass
To pierce the necks of those above
Whites, reds, yellows, even blacks
Before...I see the clear power that we possess
Even fifty of use to one of you.
We'll always fight ur need to oppress
Before...Guns blazing, lasses raised high
Shell casings equal to bodies dropping.
But we'll continue this rebel fight
Before...Martial law, local militia, imperial troops
My nappy negro head against the dirt.
Some raise the white, i rather u shoot
Before...These shallow, hallow gallows
I greet with an expressionless face
But i'd hang yesterday, today, tomorrow
Before...Before i let you raid our homes,
Before you attempt to overpower us.
Before we enter the coastal barracoons
Before we become plantation robots. Before you suppress our freedom cries
Before we remain the scum of ur boots.
Before surrender ever enters my mind
Before i remain a headcount for that single use.
