William Harman tapped his foot along to the beat of the Buddy Holly song that Thomas was playing now . Hopefully Thomas wouldn't notice , or else he'd never hear the end of it .
He drops his book when he hears a gasp from near the record player .
Oh shit . He'd been caught .
" William ! Was that you actually ENJOYING my music for once ?! "
William sighed and picked up his book .
" No ." He replied simply , opening his book back up .
He watched from the corner of his eye as Thomas slowly slipped closer and closer .
Thomas gently grabbed the book from his hands ( he knew if he ripped a page he'd be yelled at ) .
William groaned .
" Tommy , this is my special reading time ." He watched as Thomas started breaking out his weird ass dance moves .
William face palmed at his friend .
" Oh god , not this again ." He muttered .
Thomas heard him and laughed .
" You know you love it ."
William sighed .
' I know I love you ." He thought to himself .
Lady Helen sipped on the tea that Jackie had brought her . It was a peaceful morning , and she was enjoying it while it lasted . Nothing ever stayed quiet for long around here .
Right on cue there was a crashing sound . Lady Helen closed her eyes and sat the cup of tea down before standing to see what those ignorant kids had broken now .
The noise had come from the kitchen .
As she walked down the hallway she met up with William and Thomas coming out of their room to see what the commotion was about .
So it wasn't those two , she thought .
The three of them hastily made their way down the stairs and into the kitchen .
Miles and Jackie stood there scrambling to pick up some broken china on the floor .
Jackie made eye contact with Lady Helen and her eyes widened . She shoved Miles to warn him and he dropped the glass he had gathered .
" Hiya , we were just -" Miles began , but Lady Helen stopped him .
" It's fine , Miles . You just scared me is all ." Lady Helen picked up a piece of glass and Miles and Jackie sighed in relief.
" You two really need to be more careful ."
Lady Helen looked at the brown patterns on the cup and gulped . They were almost the color of that girls . Lucy .
" Lady Helen ?" Thomas asked , seeing the weird look on her face .
She snapped out of the thoughts of the girls chocolate brown eyes and smiled .
" I'll pick this mess up , you kids go have fun . It's a nice day outside ."
The four of them left the woman alone , not questioning the fact that it was raining outside, and was most certainly NOT a nice day outside .
