"Delilah! Your turn!" Mrs. Adams called.

I nodded and collected my notecards for my presentation, getting up and connecting my flashdrive to the classrooms computer. I felt my pulse quickening and my breathing picking up because i knew my classmates eyes were on me already.

I quickly pulled my presentation up on the screen and then stood up.

"Alright class, Delilah has been listening to your presentations, i expect you to listen to hers." Mrs. Adams repeated, like she had done for almost every student.

I watched her nervously as she talked. She turned back to me and smiled, nodding, which meant i could start.

I took a deep breathe before beginning my presentation, trying to keep eye contact with Ava and Mrs. Adams, so that my nerves would possibly disappear.

Thankfully, it was beginning to happen.

As i tapped the screen to progress to a further slide, i heard a deep voice in the back of the classroom cough. But i couldn't help but hear the word, "virgin," somewhere in that cough.

A few laughs erupted from my classmates.

I looked at my teacher to see if she heard, but she must have been too old and confused to realize that it was not just somebodys cough.

She gave me a warm smile before i continued presenting.

I stared at Ava for the remainder of my presentation, before walking back to my seat.

Some students clapped, some were asleep, some just hit their desks a few times to make it seem like they paid attention and knew it was over.

I glanced towards the back of the classroom as i walked to my desk, only seeing Harry and his group of friends. No wonder i heard that cruel word from the back of the classroom.

I sighed to myself and then went on with my life.

Since i was so trust-worthy to all of the teachers, I often watched over detention after school when teachers were too 'busy' with something else.

I didn't mind it though. I sort of liked to be in charge and usually everyone there listened to me.

The only one in detention that would never listen to me was none other than Harry Styles.

Gosh, how i hated him.

As i walked into the detention room, i silently prayed that Harry would not be here today.

However, my prayers were not answered this time.

I watched as Harry entered and went to the back, sitting down and pulling out his phone.

I watched him and took a deep breathe, closing my eyes for a moment before standing up. I checked off everyones name that was here.

"Okay, the rules are-" I was cut off by a loud groan.

I furrowed my eyebrows together and looked at the boy who made the noise.

"What are you doing here?" he asked me and I rolled my eyes.

"I happen to be a good student and the teachers trust me to take care of the ones that they don't." i say as rudely as i can.

The stupid boy gave me a charming smirk that made me want to commit a sin and rip his head off.

"Feisty. How are you in bed?" the boy spoke up, causing my eyes to widen.

It took me a few seconds to stop blushing before i went to him and grabbed his phone, going and sitting back down in my seat as i started my homework.

The same groan came from the back of the classroom, but a very long and louder one.

"I can make you come back here every day after school you know" i snap at him, but his smirk only widened.

"Damn, if you're really that into me than you should've just said so." He said and i rolled my eyes again.

I shook my head and got back to work.

"Hey Destiny, maybe-" He started.

"Shut the fuck up mate." His friend Louis told him from the across the room.

I smirked at Louis who just smiled and nodded at me.

Detention ended and i stayed in my seat while i watched everyone rush to collect their things and walk out.

Everyone except Harry.

For someone who always seemed to be the first one out of any other class, he sure was taking his time putting his pencil in his backpack.

He looked up and then walked over to me, running his fingers through his chocolate curls.

My heart started to beat a little faster. What was he going to do? Slap me? Sexually harass me? Take my purse?

As he got closer, his familiar smirk formed on his lips before he leaned down closer to me.

"My phone?" he whispered, his lips close to my ear.

"W-what?"

"My phone. The one you took from me?" he repeated.

"Oh. Y-yeah. That." i say, quickly rummaging through drawers.

The feeling of his eyes on me were causing my hands to shake.

I grabbed his phone and held it out to him.

He smirked and took it. "Thank you, darling" he said, his tongue grazing over his bottom lip.

I watched him as he walked towards the door, looking back at me.

"You're shaking" he told me with a smirk, before pushing past the door and dissapearing nto the hallway.

"He's just..so.. annoying!" i say madly into the phone, my fist clenching it tightly.

"I know, D. I'm sorry you have to even talk to him. Don't you think he's kinda hot though?" Ava asked.

"No!" I immediately screamed. "He's selfish and cocky and rude and arrogant and just disgusting!" I say quickly.

"Okay okay okay. That doesn't mean he can't be hot though." Ava said. I could hear her smirk through her voice and i clenched my jaw, hanging up and tossing my phone on my bed.

I sighed and sat down, rubbing my forehead.

Why did this boy never escape my mind? All i could think about was how much i hated him!

Why was i always thinking about him when he doesn't even know my name!

He called me Destiny! That is not even close to Delilah!

I rubbed my face before going back to my essay that was due next month.

Harry Styles sure was something.
