Lucy's P.O.V

"Hey you okay there? " Natsu asked turning to me. "They didn't hurt you did they? "

"No I'm fine. " I said giving him a small smile.

"Let me see your arm. " Natsu gently toke hold of the arm that the guy grabbed in his hand and lifting it up to carefully inspect it for any injuries. "What are you even doing out so late at night it's dangerous. "

"I couldn't sleep and ended up wandering around. Um c..can you let go of my arm now? " I stuttered feeling a little awkward under his intense gaze, a dark blush was painted on my cheeks realizing the little space between us.

"Oh sorry. " he apologized letting go of my arm after he was convinced I was fine. "The names Natsu Dragneel." He said looking down at me with his onyx eyes they looked so...cold like an endless pit of nothing, but I could feel there was warmth hidden somewhere in there.

"I'm Lucy. " I said leaving out my last name I don't really want people to know I'm daughter of the richest man in all of Fiore. Natsu didn't seem to notice that I left it out, only nodding in response. "Thank you for saving me."

"It's nothing, I'm gonna walk you home in case those creeps decide to come back. " he said walking in the total opposite direction of my apartment.

"Um my place is in the other direction." Natsu just nodded and turned back Natsu is nicer then I thought but for some reason he seemed so cold and far away. We walked back to my apartment in silence. I felt like someone was watching us but I just brushed the feeling of, probably just my imagination.

"We're here. " I said pointing at my apartment. Suddenly the door slammed open.

"LU CHAN WERE WHERE YOU! " Levy yelled.

"Juvia was so scared." Juvia screamed running up to me, both Levy and Juvia tackled me in a choking hug. Juvia was crying waterfalls Levy was yelling at me how I almost gave the two of them a heart attack.

"I'll be going now." Natsu said in a bored tone, he was about to walk away when.

"Wait Natsu!" I yelled Levy and Juvia finally turn to notice Natsu their mouths drop wide open the second they saw him.

"Yea Luce?"

  "Luce?"

"It's your nickname from now on, so live with it." Forget anything I said about him being nice he's a jerk. Don't I get a saying in this? "What?"

"Thanks again for saving me." I said giving him a warm smile.

"No prob cya on Monday." Natsu said waving goodbye turning back one last time giving me a small smile before he disappeared into the night. My heart was racing so fast just looking at him smile. Lucy get ahold of yourself I yelled mentally slapping myself. Why is my heart beating so fast? Levy and Juvia still stood there with thier mouths hanging open.

"Guys are you there hello." Juvia and Levy finally snapped out of it but still speechless.

"I can't believe someone popular actually talked to us." Levy whispered still shocked.

"Juvia too."

"Lucy you need to tell us everything." They both exclaimed dragging me into the apartment slamming the door shut behind them.

"Sit." Levy demanded the minute I plopped down on a pile of pillows, Levy and Juvia drowned me with questions.

"Guys calm down one question at a time."

"Juvia wants to know what you were doing out so late you scared use we thought someone kidnapped you." Juvia scolded me.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you worry." I whispered looking down at my feet feeling awful.

"Your forgiven" Juvia replied

"Now tell us what happened." Levy said anxiously

"Um I decided to get some fresh air I got lost and bumped into Natsu he helped me find my way back, thats it." I didn't want to tell them about those guys cause they'd flip, like try to I'll them.

"Lucy are you not telling us they whole story." Levy asked suspiciously.

"I...I'm.."

"Levy just asked her tomorrow Juvia tired its midnight we need to sleep. You've got a whole day tomorrow to ask her." Juvia reminded her.

"Fine everyone get to your sleeping spots." Levy ordered. I quickly threw my sweater on the couch and turned on a song before crawling in to the fort after them. I stared at the top of the fort for a while till I fell into a deep sleep to the sound of the soft music.
