Lucy's P.O.V

I saw my mom she was right there with me. The car, the rain, the lightning everything happened so fast.

"Mom don't leave me please!" I screamed trying to reach out to her as she faded away into the stormy night. "Mom!"

I woke up breathing heavily. That nightmare again it'll probably never go away. Wait we're am I, Juvia and Levy were are they?!

"Juvia Levy!" I screamed pushing myself up into a sitting position as blinding pain shot through my right wrist. Causing me to fall back down on the soft white bed I was in.

"Lucy calm down we're right here." I heard Levy's voice say as she put a small hand on my arm. I turned to face her and Juvia they didn't seem to hurt, besides the small scratches on their knees and elbows that were still not yet done the process of scabbing.

"Phew you guys are all right." I sighed in relief the heavy feeling of anxiousness and worry lift off my chest.

"We wouldn't be if it weren't for you. You really scared us." Juvia cried bursting into tears.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to worry you guys." I said sitting up carefully this time with Levy and a teary eyed Juvia's help.

"You really gave us a fright but, why would you say sorry you saved us." Juvia sniffles wiping a stray tear with her pail hand.

"Of course I'd do that your my friends. I thought I'd be in worse condition." I said looking down at my wrapped up wrist.

"The doctors said you sprained your wrist when you fell but that's it. They're letting you leave in a little while. " Levy informed. "You were really lucky he jumped in."

"What do you mean by he?"

"Natsu he jumped out of nowhere to save you."

"It was the scariest, bravest and romantic thing Juvia has ever seen in her whole life." Juvia squealed wiping away the extra tears. "But mostly scary."

"Wait what romantic?!" I screamed trying to cover the blush that had quickly spread across my face to my dismay with with the blanket.

"Yeah I guy jumping in to save you is a very romantic thing." Levy squealed her eyes sparkling.

"Um." Was the only reply I could get out. "Is Natsu okay?"

"Uh he kinda broke his arm but he'll be alright. Oh and here are your glasses" Levy answered handing me the pair of pink glasses.

"Where is he, I need to see him." I asked eagerly, putting my light pink glasses on.

"I think it's on the left right beside you." Juvia said with a questioning look. "But you can't get out of bed yet."

"Whatever I need to see him." I jumped of the hospital bed making a run for Natsu's room ignoring everybody's complaints.

I hesitantly pushed the door opened to reveal a sleeping Natsu. He was slightly drooling on the pillow. His arm was in a red cast, looking at it made me feel horrible it was my fault he got hurt.

Why would he even save me I'm just a nerd no one cares about. Even my own father doesn't care that I ran away from home. It's been a year now, and he hasn't even tried looking for me. Why would Natsu save me why?

"Uh hey Luce." I heard a voice say bringing me back to reality. "I should seriously make a list for you of how to keep yourself safe."

"Natsu I'm so sorry it's my fault you got hurt." I blurted out fiddling with my fingers in nervousness.

"It was nothing." He replied bored like jumping in front of a car is nothing.

"But yo..."

"I said it's fine stop worrying about me. I just wanted to help out a friend, I felt like I had to or I'd regret it."

"Friend?" I don't know how to feel about this. Natsu Dragneel said to a lame nerd like me she was his friend.

"Who said we were? I did so just live with it." He answered in a bored tone.

"We we are?" I asked making sure he wasn't talking to someone else somehow. You never know he could've been.

"Uh yea wouldn't hurt would it?"

"No I guess not." I smiled for some reason I felt kinda happy, ok a lot happy. His annoyed look turned into a smile, this smile was different somehow it wasn't like the one from last night. I slowly walked to his bedside but felt another hard tug on my foot. NO NOT MY SHOELACE AGAIN! I felt a strong arm catch me and pull me onto him before I face planted on the ground but instead on Natsu's chest.

"Eh Lucy your so heavy." Natsu yelled

"Ah I'm sorry." I yelled jumping back up on my feet with a burning face. "Hey I'm not heavy!"

"What is it with you and your shoelaces." Natsu grumbled I looked down too see my untied laces I tied them up and grabbed my glasses.

"Wow nalu my new otp." I heard someone half whisper half squeal behind me

"Huh?" I turned to the door realizing it was Mirajane-sensei. "Oh hello Mirajane-sensei."

"Hello Lucy no need for the sensei part just call me Mira. Lisanna just wanted to come and visit Natsu, so I decided to come along with her. Oh my Natsu what ha..." Mirajane was interrupted by an overly sweet voice. I recognized immediately.
