"Mum our taxi's going to be here soon. We better leave. NOW!"
"Okay I'm coming calm down u don't have to yell. I heard you the first time".
"If you heard me then first time, why did it take you a million years to get here?"
"Well is the taxi here, no right. So shut your face okay!" She said with that typical Indian, frustrated accent with a hint of western speech.
"Okay," I said, rolling my eyes at the typical standard response my mum gave. I had booked a family holiday because ever since I started living on my own and going to university they well, haven't actually gone outside the house as such and today was a big thing for them. Minutes later we arrived at the Melbourne airport and had checked into security and gone through customs and were waiting at our gate to board when out of the blue I hear a bing from my carry-on bag.
