Anna's POV****

We stepped out of Alyssa's silver Mercedes Benz and walked towards the psychic. The place looked a little shady and I got bad vibes. My friends and I walked in anyways.

We were greeted by a lady sitting at the front desk who seemed very relaxed. "Hello darlings, what can I do for you today?" She asked, her words dragging on.

"Hi, we had an appointment for Hendricks." I smiled at the lady.

"Right. Well you can all take a seat and I will have Linda call you in one by one." She walked away, probably to tell Linda.

After a few minutes of waiting, April was called in first. I was confused how they knew her name since they never asked, but I assumed it wasn't very hard for a psychic to figure out someone's name. I've never really believed in this stuff, but it seems like a good experience.

April came out about 10 minutes later with a huge grin on her face.

"Linda said she sees some sort of letter coming to me with good news. It might be my acceptance as a Blossom Medical Intern! She also said she sees me falling in love with something that has big brown eyes and messy hair! Maybe it's Ethan!" She gushed. We all warned her not to have too much hope, but nothing could bring her down.

After a while, everyone's names were called and they all came out with great news about how their futures look great and they have so much to look forward to. Well except Julia, she wants to go into marine biology, but Linda claimed her real passion is to be a vet.

"Anna dear," I jumped up at the sound of my name. This is exciting, I will have something to look forward to after this!

I took a seat across from Linda and she took my palms. I tried to read her face, but she wouldn't give anything away. After a  few minutes she opened her eyes and gave me a look filled with sorrow.

"Oh dear, I suppose I was right about you," she began. "Unlike your friends, I do not see a bright future ahead, in fact I see no future." I looked at her with a puzzled expression.

"W-what do you mean?" I stuttered.

"Honey, you have 90 days to live. I do see something you might like though. There's a boy. He's very handsome. I see you two developing quite the relationship filled with love only to end in sorrow."

What is this garbage, I actually believed this wouldn't be nonsense in the beginning.

"Okay?" I was still confused and kind of angry that my friends, even though completely false, had good things to look forward to.

"You don't believe me and it's okay. I am not trying to be friends with you, you do not have to trust me at all. I just want to warn you that death is coming, and there is no way to avoid it. Live your life to the fullest now and you will have no regrets." Linda stated with a straight face.

I exchanged the facial expression and let out a short "Thanks" and walked out of the room. My friends were so busy talking about how excited they were for their futures that they barely noticed me walking out.

"OMG! What did she say Anna?! Does she see you with Chase??" April questioned referring to the guy I have a huge crush on. I didn't want to tell my friends what she actually said so I decided to play along.

"Yeah. She sees me and Chase running around the house with our five little children." I stated trying to be enthusiastic.

"I always knew you two would be together forever. He's so sweet and so are you. You're a perfect match!" Julia gushed. I rolled my eyes. Little do they know I can't even make one baby in the time I have left.

I pretended to laugh at the little remarks everyone was making about me and Chase and then remembered we had dinner reservations. "Who's hungry?!" I said cutting someone off. Everyone jumped up and happily skipped to the car.

We arrived to California Pizza Kitchen about ten minutes later and sat down to eat. I decided this was a snapchat worthy event so we took a group selfie and posted it to my story hoping Chase would see how pretty I looked tonight. We talk once in a while during AP Bio, but other than that I wouldn't consider us friends. The one group that I would not consider my friends is the hockey team which of course consists of Chase. Just my luck.

I snapped out of my daydreaming about Chase when our food came. I kindly thanked the waiter and scarfed down my five cheese pizza.
