Chapter 14

Tessa's Pov:

"Why don't you just leave Tessa? None of us want you here!" Luke mumbles, I look at the floor, "What do you mean? I thought we were okay, I thought y-you an I were together!" I whisper, "You're so stupid! You think I'd fall for a girl like you? I can have any girl I want! Why would I chose you!?" He spits, tears stream down my cheeks, "B-because I l-love you and-and you love me Too.." I cry, he laughs and walks toward me, "No one in their right mind would love you Tessa, I'm one of those people! Go home! I don't love you, you were just a rebound girl!" He spat, "FUCK YOU HEMMINGS!" I yell and slap him across the face before running away.

I bolt awake, my face wet from tears. It was just a dream, only a dream but it's a message! Luke could have anyone so why should I keep him when a beautiful and amazing girl is out there for him!

I quietly slip out of bed and get dressed, I grab my bag and then sneak downstairs and slip on my sneakers. I unlock the door and quietly and carefully open it without making a sound then close it quietly behind me. I walk over to my place, unlock the door and open it. "Tessa?" Mikey mumbles, I bite my lip and turn around, "Hey Mikey!" I whisper, "What are you doing? Why are you leaving?" He asks confused. "I just...I wanted to come home I guess" I whisper, "At four in the morning?" He mumbles, "Uh yeah, I couldn't sleep so I'm gonna try sleeping in my own bed! It's been a while!" I explain, "You didn't even leave a note for Luke, is something wrong?" He asks, "Uh...no I'm fine Mike! I'm just tired, I'll talk to you tomorrow!" I whisper, "No Tess! What's wrong!" He exclaims walking up to me, "umm, just come inside! It's cold out here!" I mumble, he nods and follows me inside.

"I had a nightmare" I explain, he nods, "What was it about?" He asks curiously, "Nothing..." I whisper, "Tess!" He urges, "Fine! It was about me an Luke...Luke was telling me that he didn't love me, that he could have anyone he wanted and no one in their right mind would love me, that none of you boys wanted me there and that I should go home!" I whisper hoping he couldn't hear everything. "It was only a dream Tess! It wasn't real, you shouldn't have left!" He exclaims, "I know but it was a sign! A sign telling me I should leave because Luke is amazing and there's a beautiful, smart and amazing girl out there for him but I'm keeping him from finding her!" I explain, "He loves you Tessa! He loves you so much, we all do! You are beautiful! You are smart and you are amazing! You are the girl for Luke, Luke is lucky to have you! We all like you Tessa but Luke was the one lucky enough for you to return the feelings!" Mikey exclaims, I look at him in this moment, I look in his eyes and see the truth and the hurt and I see how much he meant what he said.

I should still be mad at him, but I'm not! I think quickly and plant my lips on his, I run my hands through his hair as he picks me up and sets me on his lap, we kiss and it get deeper ever minute. I finally break it to catch my breath, leaning my head on his..."I'm sorry!" He whispers, "I'm so sorry for what I did! I shouldn't have done it, I'm not that kind of guy and I don't want you to be scared of me or to hate me cause I love you Tessa! I just want you to be happy!" He mumbles, "It's okay! I forgive you!" I whisper. "Understand I love you but I also love Luke! You're both amazing guys and it's just hard for me!" I mumble, "Well, I'm gonna fight for you but in the end, it's your call!" He whispers. He pecks my lips before moving me off his lap and walking toward my door. "Mikey!" I call, he turns toward me, "Thank you!" I whisper, "Anytime! I love you!" He mumbles before leaving and closing the door behind him.

I lock the front door before climbing the stairs an slipping into my bed. I Close my eyes and slowly drift off to sleep.

I'm sitting on a couch in a white room, Luke and Mikey are sitting beside me while ash and cal are sitting on arm chairs. A man walks in through a door and sits down in one of the empty chairs, "So Tessa! these two boys have confessed their love for you, do you feel the same way?" He asks, I look at them and they both smile at me, I close my eyes then open them and find myself looking at Calum, he smiles at me and I smile back, I think for a minute. Calum is attractive and he's amazing and he's always been there for me, he makes me laugh and smile....and I think I'm..."I'm in love with Calum!" I whisper, everyone gasps and I look up at Calum, he's shocked and he's looking at me confused. "Tessa, Calum didn't confess his love for you-", "I do love her!" Calum announces, "I do!" He exclaims, "Oh...well it looks like we know now! Calum Hood is in love with Tessa and Tessa is in love with Calum! What a surprise!" The man exclaims, I look at Calum an smile as he smiles at me, I Stand up and walk to him, he stands up and immediately kisses me, I'm happy! There's no more competition, it's all over!
