Chapter 5

Mia's POV

"Emily and Megan were great!" I say as we walk down the sidewalk back towards the Shiba House.

Jayden and Mike were carrying Megan and Emily by piggy-back since they were still unconscious.

"Yeah. But the last things that nighlok said really effected them," Jayden said. "Did anyone hear what he said?"

"All I heard was the nighlok saying something about Megan's family," Mike told us.

Just then we heard the music of an ice-cream truck.

"Anyone up for an ice-cream?" Kevin asks.

"Ooh! Ice-cream sounds good to me," Emily says popping her head up from Mike's shoulder.

"Me too!" Megan interjected also lifting herself up off Jayden's shoulder.

"Hey wait!" I yelled when the ice-cream truck started to move again.

"Wait!" We all called and ran after the truck. Well almost everyone ran. Megan and Emily didn't.

Now that Megan's joined the team, I wonder what new mysteries we'll uncover next.
