CHASE:

So what did he say?

LIAM:

He said yes of course. My brother and Sam are like meant to be.

CHASE:

I wish I had been there, I love the Beatles.

LIAM:

It was a spur of the moment decision really. Next time someone decided to propose I'll call you.

CHASE:

Good, I'm holding you to that.

LIAM:

I'll keep that in mind.

CHASE:

You wanna hang out sometime this week?

LIAM:

Yeah sure. You should come to McKinley, we're doing another Beatles week?

CHASE:

Count on it.

LIAM:

I'm going to hold you to that.

CHASE:

You'd better.

Liam looked up from his phone with a huge smile on his face.

"What're you all happy about?" Clara whispered so Mr Shue wouldn't hear them talking.

"Nothing" Liam replied with a coy smile on his face.

"Don't lie to me, I can tell" Clara snapped. Liam smiled smugly.

"Fine there is someone and he wants to hang out this week sometime" Liam muttered. Clara smiled.

"And is he high school hot? Or not?" Clara enquired.

"God like" Liam whispered.

"And what about you and Ivy. I've noticed flirting going on" Liam stated.

"We'll see" Clara replied before turning back to face the front.

"...and that's why the Beatles are so great" Mr Shue finished. The intercom buzzed into life.

"Attention McKinley high school here are the nominations for this weeks homecoming court...junior homecoming queen; Ivy Proctor, Bree Williams and Texas Bridges. Junior homecoming king; Liam Anderson, Adam Barton and Trip Bass. Senior homecoming queen; Kitty Wilde, Marley Rose and Nevada Dobson. Senior homecoming king; Jake Puckerman, Ryder Lynn and Bryce Robinson. That is all for this weeks announcement" Principal Boomer announced over the intercom. Ryder's teeth clenched at the mention of Bryce Robinson's name. He remembered all to well how he tried it on with Liam when they were dating. Mr Shue clapped with pure delight.

"Alright eight nominations from glee club that's great guys" Mr Shue cheered. Everyone was silent though.

"What's wrong?" Mr Shue asked worryingly. No one said anything.

"Fine then, I guess I'll have to say since people believe I'm devoid of emotions. My friends have a rumour circulating that this years homecoming king and queen have to be a jock and a Cheerio otherwise there'll be another Carrie case" Liam stated. The whole room nodded in agreement.
