I instantly sit up in my bed and rub my eyes, seeing the potato right before my eyes.
"ZANE." She screams and shakes my shoulders.
"WHAT?? WHAT'S SO IMPORTANT THAT YOU HAD TO WAKE ME UP AT 10:46 IN THE MORNING? ON A SATURDAY??" I yell back at her, clearly upset that I didn't get to sleep in after work these past weekdays.
"Well geez, I was just gonna tell you Gene is at Jay's house." She says, gesturing towards Jay's house.
"WHAT?" I say and run to my window. I see a motorcycle (Let's just assume Gene has a motorcycle.) parked in the driveway. I swear under my breath and start to angrily stomp towards Jay's house. I knock on the door and Gene opens the door.
"Well, Jay wasn't lying when she said you guys moved into Lovers' Lane." He said and chuckled.
"Watch your mouth. Just because I could bare you at Love~Love Paradise, doesn't mean I'll be friends with you. What are you even doing here??" I question him and try my best to act cool about it.
"I just came to visit Jay after several years. And look, I know you're not that fond of me, but I've changed. Aphmau helped me. She completely trusts me." Gene reasons out. This kind of pushes my buttons a little.
"Don't act like she's your best friend! That's what I'm here for!" I try to look imitating but it's kind of hard.
"Who? Jay or Aph?" My face reddens. "I m-meant Aph of course!" Jay walks into my point of view from behind Gene.
"Hey Gene, who's at the...door..." Jay says as her eyes land on me.
