Looking around I didn’t see anything out of the ordinary. Thankfully nothing had disrupted the peace for the day. Sitting down on the curve, I shrugged my black leather jacket off and bathed under the sun’s rays. As always women of every age and color stared at me in awe. I had that effect on people, I really don’t mind though; I’m not trying to sound cocky or anything I just didn’t care anymore. My jet black hair shined as the sun’s light bounced off it, my copper skin glowed as sweat slowly ran down, my golden eyes shimmered as I watched people walk about.
Glancing at every female that walked passed I smiled noticing how they tensed, blushed, and finally scurry off, or they would suddenly get very interested in looking at their phones no doubt trying to take a quick picture of me. Sniffing the air I sighed, all these women wanted was to get in my pants, literally. I don’t really mind, I mean physically I wouldn’t, every guys needs to let loose once in a while, but mentally or emotionally I wanted more, and these mere mortals would never fill that void.
I sniffed again and a sudden wave of desire hit me like a slap to the face. I stood up and glanced around; a low growl escaping my lips darkly. The people around me shuffled away, these humans they knew something was up. I glared around making my eyes turn a dark amber color when suddenly a hand wrapped around mine. A snarl escaped my throat as I turned and saw a young brown haired woman smile up at me.
“Aragon,” she purred staring up at me with dark chocolate eyes, “the council has requested to see you, my love.”
Snatching my hand away from her, I briskly turned and walked away scowling quietly. I could hear her heels click on the pavement as I led her to a secluded alley-way. Quickly I turned, grabbed her and slammed her against a brick wall, “Autana, why the hell did the council send you!? I know they know how I feel about you!” I growled darkly.
She smirked and pushed me away with a cool autumn breeze, “Yes. Well, I’m currently the only one available right now my dear.”
I continued to growl darkly, how I hate her being here. Keeping my shaking hands at my sides, I closed my eyes and took in a breath of fresh air trying to calm my trembling body down. Relaxing a bit I reopened my eyes and looked at her, “Very well. I’ll meet with them in my own time. I am not their lap dog that will come when they whistle.”
“Alright, don’t make them wait too long my love. You know how they get,” the banshee in front of me purred.
Not being able to help myself I growled a warning and felt my eyes go from golden to red. Autana took a step back as her eyes opened wide with fear. “Stop calling me cute pet names,” I growled with a beast like voice, “You are not anything to me nor I to you. You have no authority to call me anything, but Aragon. Do you hear me?!”
She whimpered quietly and nodded, “O...o.ofcourse..s..sir,” she stuttered.
I turned harshly and made my way away from that dreadful wench. Walking along I dug my hands into my jeans pockets and glowered at anyone who looked at me. Glaring at the humans was not a smart idea; they usually start thinking I’m some sort of pissed off thug. Stopping I tried to calm down yet again letting my mind clear itself from the negative thoughts.
Continuing my walk I passed by a high school and suddenly stopped dead in my tracks. I lifted my gaze as a familiar aura hit me. A sudden pain erupted from my chest making me stagger back into a tree. Gasping for air I looked around wondering why this aura was here, it shouldn’t even exist anymore! Unable to bare the pain that stabbed at my chest I ran for the shadows. When I sure I wasn’t going to be spotted I changed.
