Chapter- 1

Sree Nidhi's POV:

"Sree, wake up Kanna. It's already eight and you are late." Yelled my mom from the kitchen.

"What, eight o'clock?! Mom, are you sure or do you just need any help in the kitchen?" I yelled back grogily and rolled onto the other side of the bed like a little piggy in the mud.

I know it is a bad comparison.

Jokes apart, how are these people getting up in the cold winter that too early in the morning?

"Okay, your wish. Daddy is leaving for the station, you just sleep happily. I know you forgot who's coming today."

My eyes widened hearing those words. I jolted up on the bed and searched for my mobile and checked the time. I rushed into the bathroom without wasting a minute. I got dressed up and went near to the dining table where my mom was serving breakfast and dad kept reading his newspaper peacefully.

My mind drifted to the thought of finally meeting my elder sister, Mythili after two long years. I'm overwhelmed with joy as I'm very attached to my sister that I can't live without her even for a day. I really didn't know how I spent these days without her.

I quickly finished my breakfast and left to the station along with my dad to pick up my dear sissy. We waited for her arrival impatiently, which in actual I was as my dad was cool and composed.

"Daddy, there she is!" I shreiked and ran towards her without any ado. Her face brightened when she spotted me in the croed. We did meet after two years. As soon as I reached her, she cupped my face with her palms and tears welled up in jer eyes.

"Sree!How are you? I missed you, my dear little sissy." She said and I could not control my tears. I crushed her into a bear hug and kissed her on her cheek.

"Welcome, Akka! I missed you too and I'm fine too, see I'm super healthy." I said showing up my muscles like a wrestler.

"ACHOO! ACHOO!"

Oops!

You idiot!

Why did you overact for everything?

Now go enjoy? 

"Oh! You are fine. Nah! I'm sorry, super healthy right?" she asked while holding my ear with one hand and another on her hip.

"Wait.. Did you eat ice cream at night even though I warned you not to?" She asked with concern evident in her eyes.

"Umm..no Akka, I just ate one little scoop," I said and smiled shyly while trying to hide behind my dad.

"Okay okay, you can give her a big lecture later, mythili. Now let's rush to our home, your mom will be waiting." said naana. I gave her my I won look for which she gave a smack on my head, playfully.

We finally reached our home and my sister greeted and hugged my mom and we had a family talk for a while and after finishing our lunch we retired to our rooms.

"So tell me, my little sister. How is everything going on? Your college and your friends?" she said while unpacking all her clothes.

"Nothing much Akka. I have an exam on Monday and then after that, I can happily eat and sleep in the house till my call letter comes. I'm a free bird, you know. I can just hang out with my friends whenever I feel like. The upcoming days will be my jolly days." I said tossing on the bed

"Ahaan, that is why you are happy. Not because your sister came after 2 years, isn't it?" She pouted.

"Stop it Akka. You don't know how profusely I have been waiting to see you. Okay, enough of all those now tell me about my Jeju?" I said giving her an evil smirk.

"What?! Who is your Jeju!?"

Oh, I got your point, I know you very well my dear drama queen!

"I was just kidding, by the way, I could see that spark in your eyes when you heard the word Jeju," I said stressing on that word.

"Youuuuu!! Enough of your drama now get out, I need some peace of mind." she said while throwing a pillow at me.

"Alright, rest for a while," I said while closing the door behind me.

I came out of the room and saw my mom and dad mumbling something.

Something is fishy.......

I thought and continued my work. I heard my dad talking to someone on the phone and he came to the living room where I was sitting with my mom and my sister and then he said
"May I have your attention ladies."

We three paid attention to him like how he asked for.

"One of my childhood friend's daughter is getting married. We need to attend the wedding in Hyderabad. So, we are leaving tomorrow." He said and I did a fist pump in the air.

"Yay!! We are going to Hyderabad, that too, a marriage function." I squealed with excitement.

"Amma, what shall I wear? Oh my god, my dresses! I have to do a lot of packing, bye bye!"

"Wait..Tomorrow?? But Sree you have your last exam on Monday, right?" my sister sasked

" Oh shit! I totally forgot about that Akka. I can't skip my exam, right? So, I can't come. You people have fun. You will be enjoying there and I'll be hitting my books." I sighed.

"It's okay, it always happens to me, I know. But I'm going to miss you three." I said giving them an emotional touch and patted my back mentally for my talent.

"Stop it Sree, I know your plan, you can't come by yourself to there." said my sister.

Yeah! I knew that, this is going to happen.

"What is the matter mythili? She isn't a little girl anymore. She should learn now. She is going to come there and I'll ask my friend's son to accompany her, fine?" said my daddy.

I know dad you are my hero. Ahh.. what did he just say? Friends son? Oh no!! what to do?

"No daddy, I'm a grown up girl, sorry, I'm my daddy's daughter, I can come all by myself. No uncle's son to accompany me, please!" I said with all the hope that he is going to say yes.

God, please help me for one last time please, please!

"Enough of your drama my dear sister. You'll come there along with him as daddy said, got it?" said my sister with an authoritative voice.

"Okay, anything for you." I said with a fake smile.

We were back to our respective rooms. I tried to sleep though many thoughts were running in my mind.
