I'm late.

I get out of bed and jump into the shower washing as quick as possible.

I was supposed to meet my mum at the cafe by 12:30, and she'll have my head on a stick if I keep her waiting.

My phone rings as I slip into a light wash jeans and a white T-shirt.

" hello" I say breathlessly.

" Arabella, I hope you haven't forgotten about our breakfast" my mothers voice says on the other end of the line.

" no! Of course not mum, I'm on my way to the bus right now, I'll see you in a few minutes " I say laughing nervously.

" hmm sure honey, see you later" she replies knowingly.

The line cuts and I'm quick to slip on my white, worn out converse.

My mother has been on my case for quite a while about my dearly beloved converse, so it probably wasn't such a good idea to wear them when I was supposed to be meeting her, but I love these shoes, they're the most comfortable pair of shoes I own.

My phone starts ringing again as I speed walk towards the bus stop.

Ughhh, I start rummaging through my bag trying to find my phone.

"Gosh my bag is a mess" I mutter as I move a torn packet of jelly beans to the side, half its contents lying strewn across my bag.

I finally find my phone, but bump straight into something, making me stumble backwards and almost fall flat on my butt.

A hand reaches out and steadies me before I can embarrass myself in front of a bunch of people.

" oh my gosh, I'm so sorry, I never saw where I was going, and I'm kinda in a hurry" I ramble as I collect my items from the floor, the person who helped me immediately starts picking up my stuff too.

"Oh thank you, its okay. You really don't have to help..it was my fault after all." I say sheepishly.

" Its okay, I want to help" a deep voice rasps, making me halt in my movements, looking up at the mystery guy.

I locked eyes with him and kind of lost sense of everything around me.

His eyes are a beautiful electrifying green and I couldn't find the strength to look away.

He stared right back at me, face void of any emotion yet his eyes were so full of emotion and I couldn't tell what he was thinking.

I was about to speak when my phone started ringing loudly again, making me jump back in surprise.

" shit" I cursed, pressing my phone to my ear.

" h-hi " I answered still a bit out of it.

" Bella, are you okay?" Levi asked

" ohh, yeah I'm cool, what's up?"
I replied chuckling.

" I just wanted to let you know that I'm spending the night at Jade's, so you don't have to wait up for me"

I rolled my eyes.

" yeah sure Levi, its cool " I said, I don't really mind being alone, it gave me time to myself which was nice.

"Bye, love you!" He chirped.

"Love you too idiot" I giggled and ended the call.

" boyfriend?" The voice rasped,making me jump again.

I forgot he was still here, I looked up at him, confused.

" sorry, what?" I asked unsurely.

He chuckled and nodded towards my phone.
